I live in the area of this restaurant and it's one of the best kept secrets around! Great food, wonderful family owned atmosphere. I usually start with the homemade salsa and a Negro Modelo (what a combo!). Then for the main course Tamale/Enchilada combo. Everything on the menu is good though. Highly recommended!
Pros: Reasonably priced, Great atmosphere, Delicioso

I work nearby and knew that the pizza place was there, but had never checked it out. Finally went and I was overwhelmed at how great the pizza was. Perfect crust, great cheese, and plenty of toppings; and the best prices! I think that rather than going to a nearby Pizza-Hut or Domino's, Valuetina's Pizza is the best way to go. I will definitely be back for more pizza from Valuetina's!

Olive Garden was wonderful. we were able to have a nice family dinner with good food and good prices. Plus you get unlimited bread sticks and salad. We all left the resturant stuffed and happy. We told the waiter we were here for a birthday and he made sure to come by with other staff to sing happy birthday. very nice

This restaurant is very friendly and welcoming. My family has been going there for years, and have gotten to know the staff. They treat my dad just as if he was at home. The food is good too, You get alot and its freshly made, Good value for the dollar.
My dad loves their clam chowder and when you ask for a bowl of soup, you get a BOWL of soup! My only complaint is I don't like the green beans with the dinner combos.

Broasted Chicken is nothing new... well maybe it is, if your hero is Matlock. OK, sorry about that. Aside from the corny reference, there's nothing corny about how broasted chicken has become one of the most underestimated guilty pleasures of the American diet. In a land where over-consumption is the name of the game, Americans refuse to limit their portions but insist on having a Diet Cola with their double cheeseburger and cross their fingers before their nightly walk to the scale. That being said, Grandma's Chicken as well as other spawn of the consistently delicious broasted chicken method is to be consumed in moderation.
Although there have been unsubstantiated claims of its advantages in fat content to fried chicken, one things is for sure; if you want legitimate, juicy, piping hot chicken flavor, broasted is the way to go. The batter is literally pressure seared to the point where it cannot be removed (as opposed to the frying chicken, where one could easily remove the skin). The nutty outside covering lays the welcome mat to what is an experience in the taste of chicken.
Grandmas was my first true run-in with this delicious incarnation, and to say I could taste the difference between Grandma's and say, another broasted chicken restaurant, would be a disservice. The only way in which these restaurants are unique are that there are distinctive flavors locked in with the aroma provided by the oil, which is not any indication of quality but a matter of preference.
I would not recommend dining in at Grandma's. With the multiple amounts of broasters running, the temperature seems to be roughly 5-10 degrees Fahrenheit higher than outside, no matter what the weather is (imagine walking in during a Southern California heat wave). My best advice to you would be to order by phone and make it to go. They are very good about large portions (as previously mentioned, they use multiple machines) so catering is a good option. Happy eating!
Pros: Great Chicken, Good Value
Cons: Not a dine-in place, Extremely Hot, Not too many drink options
