I enjoy the teriyaki. The skewers were also good. This place can get very busy.

Unfortunately I was transferred away, but still fly-in from the mid-west as often as possible. (2 or 3 times a year) I only wish they served breakfast as well!!! Don't know what to eat? Start at the top of the appetizer menu and work your way down. I've had many good large parties there over the years as well. When it gets crowded, order some more sake and have patience. It isn't inexpensive, but the tastes are authentic and very fresh.
Bob Hall will be back.

I've been going to Azuma for almost 20 years. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner there in one of the tatami mat rooms. Quality has always been consistently good and especially for the price point. This is the type of place where you go with a friend or family for a relaxing lunch or dinner. My favorites are the calarmari tempura which will melt in your mouth, the shrimp and vegetable tempura (both of which are very light), and the simple yet complete sushi menu.
Pros: Relaxed atmosphere, consistently good food
Cons: Not a fancy sushi menu but has all the key essentials, reservation on a busy night needed
