The food at Fontana's is pretty good. I never really had a bad meal. The only big problems with Fontana's is that its really cramped in there and the service.

I eat here quite often and love the service, atmosphere and PATIO dining.
My favorite Dessert of ALL-TIME has to be the Apple Streudel!! with homemade caramel and whipped cream whats not to love.
I also love the Calamari and Penne Calabrese!
If its your first time dining @ fontanas don't be afraid to ask for suggestions even the hosts have their favorites...& most of the servers have been working there upwards of 10 years..so they know their stuff.
Pros: delicious food, great service,
Cons: wait times..easily avoided, not a full bar

Of course this is a very expensive restaurant. But the food is A class. Their presentation, service everything is very good. You can also enjoy the cooking if you want. I think it's of paying extra money for this kind of food. Try their steak with spinach and portebello mushroom and the angel hair pasta with creamy lobster sauce. You gonna love it.

Certainly this Italian restaurant is a little more expensive then most. The place itself is decent, however the lighting is overly dim. They do not have large portions for their money. The desserts were certainly pleasing, along with the appetizers. Nothing too special. Good service, good hygiene, and good food. If you are looking for a place for an extra nice and pricey dinner, you can go there.

Good Italian food. The food is creamy, rich, flavorful, and was served in good presentation. The fish are fresh and cooked to perfection.

There was a long wait before I was seated at Fontana's because of the amount of people eating. When I was seated, the waiter promptly served me with bread, water, and gave me a menu. I decided to get a seafood Italian entrée today, and ordered the scallop with angel hair pasta. When my order came, I found that the presentation was quite pleasant, and that the pasta was delicious. They had prepared the scallops with a bit of green pesto and olive oil, and I found that the pasta and scallop made an excellent combination.
I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is willing to pay a few extra bucks for a first-rate meal.

Service was excellent. Our server was respectfully friendly and attentive and on target with the timing of each course. He was knowledgeable about the menu and the bussers cleared away plates unobtusively and kept us well watered. The risotto was underdone and dry and the salmon was a bit overgrilled though still moist. The abalone with egg sounded odd but was delicious with a texture akin to silken tofu. The perfectly seared scallops with balsamic vinegar and basil creme? was to die for. Unfortunately, we were too full to try the desserts due to the superior appetizers.
Pros: Service!!, Creative food, Good ambiance
Cons: Loud at times, Some entrees subpar
