Considering this contractor is a must for anyone planning a remodeling project. Having just completed a major remodel of our home by Remodel West we could not be happier. While they offer separate construction project services, we elected to contract them to handle everything from A to Z. We were so impressed by the professional and thorough approach which they proposed and their job operating rules that we did not even bother to get competitive quotes. Our initial impressions were borne out and even exceeded. The scope of this project included remodeling our kitchen, family room, hall bath and master bath, as well as replacing all interior doors and jams. Interior walls were moved to enlarge the kitchen and master bath, reducing the size of the hall bath and master bedroom (we did not expand the size of the home). The designers were knowledgeable and experienced, as well as patient and good listeners. They helped us immensely with considering several design alternatives, material and feature selections, going shopping with us as needed, and saved us from the bewilderment of choosing from the multitude of options available. For decisions where we were somewhat hesitant, such as room color, tile and granite selections, we trusted their judgment and were very pleased with the end results. The construction crews were without exception a joy with whom to work; before long they were almost like members of our family. The way they interacted with us, among themselves, with the city inspectors and with their subcontractors demonstrated their common commitment to professional behavior, excellence of workmanship and customer satisfaction. We were totally comfortable that the work would be done right whether or not we were present. Remodel West just completed our kitchen, laundry room, family room, dining room and living room addition/remodel. We are totally please with the result. Remodel West exceeded our expectations. Our remodel/addition was a seven month project and we lived in the other half of the house during the entire construction phase with absolutely no issues. Remodel West is a one stop shop for design, engineering and construction. The design team came up with a very creative design that is open, graceful and attractive. We love it. They helped us pick out all the materials and products that went into the space. The engineering team came up with a cost effective building plan. We were on a tight budget and they made it work with no compromise to space or functionality. The build team executed flawlessly and on schedule. The quality of the their workmanship was just great. Everything fits (cabinets, appliances, windows, etc.), perfectly. We recommend Remodel West because they did everything they said they were going to do, and then some. They were neat, considerate, responsive and they always steered us in the right direction. This was our third major remodel project on this property and by far the best experience we have ever had with a contractor. When we do our next remodel/addition we will definitely use Remodel West.

When remodeling your kitchen (or any room), the most important element is the relationship you have with the contractor, before and after the job. I found that Bill Reid was exceptional. He had creative ideas, was talented, and pleasant to work with. His professional team of skilled workmen were outstanding. Remodel West provides value for the dollar. They stand behind their products and installation. I had a small complaint about the under the counter lazy susan. Bill had his carpenter come out the next day. He rectified the problem with no charge. I believe they are a good deal because I know that they did a good job behind the walls as well as the portion that is visable. I loved working with them because my part of the remodel was the fun part. I had only to pick out the style and color of cabinets and choosing the matching granite. Bill provided a list of recommended places, which made the job even easier. Remodel West did the rest.Remodel West/Cupertino kitchen exceeded my expectations. They came in under budget and before schedule. I would recommend them in a heart beat.

I used Cupertino kitchens for a kitchen remodel 6 years ago. We were impressed with their thoroughness and details. They did a good job of rending a kitchen design that reflected our needs and special circumstances. They are able to take on more than just a kitchen remodel and were able to move a load bearing wall with no problems. For the most part they kept on schedule. Problems with their supplier slowed things down towards the end. They have since discontinued their work with that firm.
