I used to teach at this great school. I still go there for various events. I like the people and the facilities. This seems a great place for students to start their college studies.

PROS: Great college, lot of classes and lot of good teachers
CONS: discrimiate against minority, specially new comer.

I took a few summer classes here because it was the only JC in the south bay that offered the technical classes I needed. You will find lots of university courses offered at this college and will easily transfer. Just be sure to get your classes cleared before taking them just in case. Great class sizes and (mostly) good instructors.

Besides the fact that their classes are decent and cheap, de anza college has a very decent bookstore. Many of the books are textbooks, but you can find literature that you will enjoy reading in your spare time as well. The prices are not too cheap, but you won't find textbooks at other places like barnes and noble. You would probably have to order the books from them to get them.

De Anza (along with Foothill college) is one of the best community colleges out there. Tons of really good clases tp choose from. The proffesors really seem to want to teach you something, they can really get personal with a student and really teach them something. Many people from here transfer into really good 4 year schools like UCLA. The campus is a really nice environment, nice and roomy. DEFINITLY a recommendation for this one.

Attended as a high school senior - thought the classes were very manageable and fun. The professors were friendly and taught very well, unlike some other public institutions focused more on research rather than teaching. It was a great experience attending De Anza and would recommend it to anyone - it's affordable and well worth the money.

Consistently ranks in the top three junior colleges. Excellent professors (including Nicky Yuen for Poli Sci, Bambhania for math, Newton for physics) and helpful adminstration. Many students who do a decent job transfer to Top 50 Four-year Universities. De Anza was a wonderful place to go. The library is also a great place to study. The Flint Center often houses performances by the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, Jewel, Yu Lina, etc.

De Anza College located in Cupertino is a great community college for anyone looking to recieve some good education at an affordable price. The campus is not your typical city college campus with its many large parking structures and nice buildings. The institution has a very good staff of professors as well.
