La Patisserie used to have some crazy hours, and still closes up shop at 1 pm on Sundays, but if you make it there, it's worth it. It's a French-style cafe, with a few tables inside, a few tables outside, a coffee stand, espresso stand and a pretty impressive selection of the desserts.
They seem to be pretty good on chocolate, mousses and combinations of the above. The small desserts can be packed to go or eaten inside and range between $3 and $5. The cakes looked pretty tasty as well, and while we enjoyed the desserts with some coffee outside the shop, quite a few customers picked up cakes to go.
The staff is friendly, familiar with the recipes and contents of each dessert, and the place is well-lit and clean. Overall, a place dessert lover will probably enjoy. It might be a bit pricey, but generally a dessert from a French cafe would require an air ticket to Paris.

Go for the Q-pop chicken. They call it a snack, but I call it a meal. They give so much, and it is so good. Its not like American popcorn chicken, it has a white peppery spicy flavor to it, along with basil. The batter is also very light too, not too heavy. I also recommend the mango tapioca slushy. Those two items make a good combo. Oh, and best of all, the chicken is onlly $3, compared to other places where they give you 6 pieces. This place gives you about 1 pound of chicken.
Pros: Q-pop chicken, Mango Slushy, Price
Cons: In Cupertino

Although the name of this bakery looks French, it is actually owned by a charming Chinese couple who have a knack for making delicious pastries from all over the world. There's french, chinese, and japanese confections, just to name a few. The palmiers are very good, sweet and crispy. The interior is very clean and organized.

Sogo Bakery has a large selection of delicious baked goods and yummy cakes. We always order our birthday cakes here. The prices are decent and the selections aren't too sweet - perfect for Asian tastes. They are by far my favorite bakery. Suggestions are the Pineapple bun and chestnut cake

I f you don't like too much sweet in the cakes then you gonna like it. This is a chinese bakery. They have wide variety of tasty cakes. The price is little bit high then regular safeway cakes but the tasty is of course very good. They also make very beautiful birthday cakes. Their breads are very fresh and very tasty. Try their chicken pie this is different.

Upon entering Coffee Society, I was greeted with a friendly, warm, and relaxed atmosphere. Tables, chairs, and sofas were loosely assembled around the large area while light jazz played in the background. I noticed that the prices of the coffee and pastries were a bit expensive, and I could've gotten a better deal at any local Starbuck's. The pastries and desserts were quite tasty, but the mocha I ordered was not worth the money. I could still taste some powdery essence in my four dollar coffee, and there wasn't enough ice.
I wouldn't have returned to this coffee shop if it weren't for the free wireless high speed internet. Coffee society offers mediocre-speed WIFI, but I don't recommend this place for someone who needs a good coffee fast.
