I haven't stayed at the Culver Hotel yet, but I've been here a great many times for their bar. Duke's is a nice bar, with some good appetizers and a friendly staff. Their bar is tiny but there's lots of seating in the lobby. With many studio employees coming here after work, it gets crowded all the time.

I was surprised when I walked in at how big and beautiful it was and even more surprised when I got to the pool level. The pool is huge and there are more than enough lounge chairs unlike every other hotel I have stayed at in LA. Also cool at night you can get drinks at Trader Vics and they show old surfing movies on the side of the building! There was a gorgeous view from the room and a large balcony and everyone is so friendly!! Be sure to visit the spa, it's small but right next to the pool and has a great lounge and the services are very reasonably priced.
Pros: huge pool level with a resort feel, spa, service, views
Cons: between two very busy streets

Everyone has to use these guys...There the best! Affordable Moving company did the best moving job Ive every seen. Even my neighbor were impressed by how fast and efficient they were. They quoted me at 4 hours of work and finished in 2. Amazing! Everyone hire them.

Just wanted to express my thanks for the way yesterday's move went. The team sent out here was really great! They were very polite, efficient, eager to please and do what we wanted and worked non-stop. I know this wasn't an easy job with so many boxes and trying to keep them organized in a certain way. They went above and beyond. These guys should be commended for the terrific job they did. Thanks a lot.

Great hotel only for the fact that there is a lot to eat around its location. I tried this restaurant called Gyenari thats near. I wouldn't have tried it unless i stayed at this hotel and i tell you, this is the best tasting food ive ever had. Its korean bbq and its magnificent. If you tasted their meat you will be high. Its that good

We stayed here for one night during an extended stay in California. We came in on a red eye and wanted to find a place close to the airport for one night that wasn't too expensive. This was it! It's nice, clean, but not a place to vacation.
PROS: Close to airport.
Clean.
Pool.
Free Newspaper and Breakfast.
CONS: No nearby attractions.
I didn't feel comfortable walking around the area- seemed rough. After our stay, we heard about a shooting at the mall not too far away.

The room was dark small and smelled like mildew. There was no shampoo conditioner or soap in the bathroom and still hair in the tub from who knows how many people before us. The biggest gross out came in the morning when i got up to find an opened trojan magnum wrapper partially hidden underneath the bed from the people who stayed there before us. When my mother alerted the front desk clerk of the prophylactic situation he shrugged it off as if we were an inconvenience to him. She asked him to have the manager call her. By six o' clock pm and still no call my mom called back and was treated very rudely with again no call from the manager and it is now 9 pm. I would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE! The service was awful and the hotel itself was even more disgusting.
Pros: Its Sleazy... if your into that
Cons: Dirty, Horrible customer service, Unresponsive management, Questionable neighborhood

The pictures online are very deceiving. Somewhat run down. The thing that bugged me the most was there was no air conditioning in the halls. This to me is a a sign of a really cheap hotel trying to save money. Also, I stayed on the 9th floor and it took me two days to figure out that the two out of the three elevators that were working didn't stop at the 9th floor when going down. You had to press the button to go up and then press the button to go down once you got in. I complained about a dog barking everytime someone walked by the dog, but nothing was done.
