Sally's Fabrics has a great selection of fabrics for all occasions. The price per yard is very reasonable. You can get simple cotton fabric to expensive satin and velvet ones. They have beautiful patterns for children's clothes if you are interested in designing your own dresses. They also sell decorative accessories like buttons, bows, flowers etc. They have great sale going on during holiday weekends.

India Music and Boutique rents DVD and Video cassettes in all Indian languages. It has a huge selection of movies ranging from old classics to the latest releases. The owner is very friendly. DVD rentals are only 2 dollars per movie and cassettes are a dollar. In addition the shop also sells Indian clothes, gift items and musical instruments. You can get your PAL cassettes converted to NTSC for a nominal price. New releases are mostly out on weekends so try your luck on weekdays.

The day before Christmas i met Brittney Spears in Toys R us in the hood. This is the ghetto Toys r us and she was with her hubby. Toys r us always have good toys and never have a large crowd around and they are centrally located for everyone to get to. She seem nice, but she did look like trailor trash and her dude look like he needed a nap. But for themost part she didntspend no more than 500 bucks in there. She was nice and signed a couple of autographs, but you know regular ol black folks like me do not care abou no Brittney Spears so she did not have to worry about us hounding her it was like OK Britney Spears wop ti doo.

Harper's doesn't look like much from the outside. No fancy store windows, just a door with the name on it, and inside is boring, too, BUT they have some of the coolest high fashion clothes for ladies with designer names at rock bottom prices. I never fail to find something when I go, and it never fails that when I wear it, someone says where did you find that?! It is worth the trip, and they even have a fairly decent selection of men's clothing, as well.

This place is heaven for you bargain hunters. Everything is less than $20 here. I found a tank top that had a tie-dye scarf attached to it. I love that extra touch of creativity. Even the scarf that I bought here looks like no other. It's classic black, but there are braided tassles at each end. If you like halter tops with the sequin designs, then this store is for you. My friend found a sparkly turquoise bracelet that matched her top perfectly.

This is an awesome place when looking to get hip new glasses.
I happened upon this little gem of an office by accident when I was getting a coffee across the street. I had been looking for a new pair of glasses but nothing has caught my eye so I figured I would walk in and see what they had. I was very surprised by their selection. They had brand names such as Versace, Bvlgari, Gucci, Fred and Tom Ford and so many others. They seemed to have glasses in all price ranges, something for everyone. They also have a large selection of sunglasses including Dolce and Gabbana, Juicy Couture, Prada, and Christian Dior. The office is very comfortable and they seem to be quite busy.
I ended up having an eye examination although I did not have an appointment. The optometrist was very helpful and so is the rest of the staff. I also got contact lenses which they had in stock which was very convenient. To top it all off they took my insurance VSP. I will definitely go back to Dr. Friedman's office.

Personally, I don't like this store, but they have good service. Everytime i go to the mall my little sister wants to go here. She always buys some little accessory. The price is always good, I can't believe when she tells me something only cost 2 or 3 bucks.
