If you're looking for absolute authentic Thai food, then go up on Hollywood Bl. east of Western and take your pick. This is some of the best tasting and well prepared Thai food you'll find anywhere. The Silver Noodle salad and the Roasted Duck salad are two of the best. The Pad Kee Mow is always a treat. If you're looking for good curry, look no farther. All in all a great meal.
Pros: Food Quality, Ambience, Service
Cons: Parking, Prime Time Crowded

The place is beautiful and remodeled. Great for reception.
The food is good, my family and I love Italian food and we love to go to this restaurant. The prices meet the quality of food.
The lobster ravioli is great and the service and atmosphere is excellent. Saturday nights they have music with lite dancing.

I can't believe how many times my boyfriend and I walked past Mrs. Garcia's and over to El Pollo Loco! We even peeked inside the window a few times before we came to our senses. After trying Mrs. Garcia's for the first time, we have never gone back . Not only is the food and service great, but it's conveniently located down the street from where we live. Guess that makes us lucky.
We visit Mrs. Garcia's about once every week and a half. We like the fish taco combo (fresh, not fried or battered) with rice and beans and a heaping side of fresh lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole and sour cream. They have a homemade salsa bar with tomatillo and other spicy flavors. My new favorite is the chicken fajita burrito. It comes with chicken, rice, fresh bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, sour cream and guacamole. (Sometimes I'm good and get it without the sour cream and guacamole.) My boyfriend also likes the chile colorado burrito. Sometimes we even split a simple bean and rice burrito.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They keep their facility clean and are very prompt. I highly recommend Mrs. Garcia's over El Pollo Loco any day!
Pros: Great food and great value

We had a table of 10 people
We waited for 15 minutes to place an order
The food arrived fairly fast under 15 minutes
They brought the food, through a couple of napkins at us, and spilled something on us
And never came-back until it was time for the check
The food was great
We had the East Boat Special
It really is enough for 2 people
Best part about the special, all of it.
You get 1 Dynamite, 2 fresh shrimps, 6 to 8 peace of tempura
Several peace of sashimi, chicken teriyaki, and some California rolls.
Over all a lot of food, but most important it was good food
(FYI) the drinks are served in cans for about $1.25 per can
Overall
The service was unacceptable
The only reason I will comeback is because of the table set up and the fresh tuna.
Pros: The table setup, Fresh Sashimi
Cons: , The Canned Drinks

I like this place a lot, it's fun to buy a drink and browse. Lots of fun, cool art to see. It's a beautiful space. Everyone who has visited the space with me, enters and says, "wow". They have their own parking lot behind the building - which makes live easy. Only wish they stayed open later than 9pm.
Pros: Atmosphere, art, general space.

Daphne's is a good, inexpensive choice if you're catching a movie next door. You can get a gyro a la carte or a combination plate of gyro meat, a few pita slices, rice, Greek salad, and another choice; however, i thought the chicken kabob was a little dry and not as good as the gyro meat. The lemon chicken soup is tasty, too. Also, the vegetarian (not vegan) combo plate has a good variety of foods.

I love Industry Cafe` and Jazz. The combination of authentic delicious Ethiopian/Eritrean cuisine at a very reasonable price with the enjoyable jazz atmosphere is really what this city needed. I was getting tired of the walking into overated "exotic" restaurants that do not offer much in terms of ambiance other than mediocre food at unimaginable prices. This place invites incredibly talented jazz groups to perform at no cover charge to the customer (only a tip jar), and the personnel is very friendly and delightful. One small advise, when you go to this place and order a traditional East African food, please try to eat it the food with your hands (no utensils) the way the East African do (after thoroughly washing their hands of course)....it really adds to the flavor of the food. Other than that I recommend this place to anyone, whether you are a jazz lover or just want to take your date in a nice and inexpensive romantic spot.

My boss took me to this place for lunch on a recent visit to the headquarters of the company I work for. I was in town visiting from Texas and the food reminded me of home with a California sea food twist.
I had the shrimp quesadillas. Not only was there more food than I could eat in one sitting, but it was delicious and reasonably priced. Always a good combination. It was a bit cold inside, but that is typical of most restaurants.
I think this will be a place I frequent on my trips to Culver City!
