WHat more you expect from a restaurant. It is great at dosas, lunch menu, and in special as fresh as home food. I have visited this place with my customers. They liked it as compared to any other indian or american restuarants in LA. This is now recommended by my customers considering the food taste, ambience, and on top of all superb hospitality
Pros: This place is great for business lunch meetings. great food

It is difficult to find indian groceries locally without having to drive to Cerritos. Asia Foods makes is easy for West LA residents to find South Asian groceries such as fresh meat, frozen foods, vegetables, mangoes, etc. for affordable prices. It is slightly small for the amount of products, but very helpful!

Wow! That's all I can say.
Friendly waiters, terrific prices, and who can forget the monster theater like TV screen showing Pakistani and Indian programing. May favourite items were the Daal and Nehari, of course who can forget the BBQ(Tandoori) items. I tried their burger and I must say it is quite exceptional, very difficult to find good halal food with a decent location in the Los Angeles.
All in all you owe it to yourself to just go!

The Backstage is, hands down, my favorite bar in LA. Don't be fooled by the exterior. It looks a little forbidding at first. But when you walk in, its like entering an alternative world where everything is right. The place is very dimly lit, but very warm feeling. Everyone that works there is unbelievably friendly. You feel at home right away. Drinks are cheap and the food is sensational. I dont really live that close by, but when my friends and I start trying to figure out where to go, we can never come up with an idea that we like better, so off we go to the Backstage. I highly recommend a drink they make called the Culver City Slut. Its goooood. Thanks Backstage, dont ever change!
Pros: Unpretentious, great staff, shockingly good food, fun!
Cons: Can get crowded on weekends. Wish I lived a little closer.

If you work for Sony, you'll most likely have discovered this quaint little sandwich shop with the super friendly couple that owns it and recognizes repeat customers. This place offers gourmet sandwiches and organic salads, and serves them up in perfect brown lunch bags. They have a wee little patio outside and a bar dining area inside, but most all all: come here for the tuna salad sandwich. YUm-O!
Pros: Tuna Salad Sandwich, Pulled Pork Sandwich
Cons: Locationn easy to miss, but worth a stop once you discover it!

Baja Fresh is a favorite on nights where we need something fast, filling, and tasty. When ever you see a line (usually for lunch), grab a menu and call you order in. This way you get to jump to the front of the line.

The place is beautiful and remodeled. Great for reception.
The food is good, my family and I love Italian food and we love to go to this restaurant. The prices meet the quality of food.
The lobster ravioli is great and the service and atmosphere is excellent. Saturday nights they have music with lite dancing.

This place has a lot of good attributes and, overall, an awesome staff (there are some exceptions, of course, but that's par for the course). I am a regular, and will continue to go back.
Bottlerock is good for small and large parties a like, and the staff is more knowledgeable about wines than any other place in downtown Culver City (there is still room for improvement on the wine knowledge/sophistication side, which almost earned them 4 stars instead of 5, but they are working on it, so I expect improvement). The manager is friendly (which is refreshing), she often circles the place to greet patrons, and the entire staff aims to please. The service can sometimes be a bit slow when they are busy -- but hey, it's a wine bar (so chill out and enjoy!). I recommend Bottlerock 10 times over Rush (a bar/restaurant in the same vicinity, which had an inexcusably uneducated staff, very disorganized service and clueless management).

I had really high hopes for BottleRock. I wandered in one Saturday afternoon and decided to try out their wine tasting, which was $10. The woman who was pouring everyone's tastes came by and gave me my first wine. When I asked her a few questions about the wine, she read me what was on the label. I could have done that myself.
I was amused to see that she was also drinking as she worked, but my amusement turned to annoyance when I realized she seemed to have forgotten about me. After twenty minutes I was able to flag someone down to send her over to me with the next taste.
Since the woman was busy drinking, I asked another man, who apparently was working a different part of the room, to pour for us. It took me over an hour to get all 4 wines tasted because it was so difficult to get any service, and the place wasn't even busy. The only thing that was busy was the woman, who was too busy drinking!
I was so disgusted that I left a quarter for a tip.
If you do go here, your best bet is to just buy a bottle of wine so you won't have to depend on the staff to help you out any further.
