Clint and his team at FastSigns Culver City have helped me with signs and banner for conferences and sales meetings. Once I noticed a typo on one of my signs (our fault), and not only did Clint correct it and print me a new one in record time, he delivered it personally... all in time for our clients' arrival. I will use them again and again!
Pros: Fastsigns is fast AND professional

Their arrangements are unique and gorgeous! The most gorgeous, exquisite floral arrangements I've ever seen or received. I've been to a few events where the Woods were the floral designers. The rooms came alive and are absolutely stunning because of their work. We all wanted to take the table arrangements home with us! Can't recommend them enough. Be warned, they are not cheap - but you really get what you pay for.
Pros: Gorgeous flowers, friendly and knowledgeable staff
Cons: They are as expensive as they look

I found this place looking for glass containers for my water. I looked everywhere for glass containers and this company had them. 1, 3 and 5 gallon carboy's. There 3 gallon carboy is approx. $20.00 which is the best price I have found even compared to on-line prices.

After trying to put together my company's holiday party myself and pulling my hair out I called Event Solutions and was immediately relieved. They took care of everything: found a location, secured all the rentals, came up with really cute centerpieces and reasonable decor package. They came out to meet with my team and were so professional. Their food is awesome. They are the total package. I can't wait for the event next month.
Pros: Great food for the price, professionalism
Cons: They make me look bad: I didn't have to do anything @!!!

I needed a battery that is so quaint and to me is not well-known. You definitely can't find it in a grocery store, or convenience store. But you can find it in Batteries Plus with no problem. They will fix and input the battery in whatever item and assist you in any way needed beyond that. The hours are good as they open at 8am and close late evening. However, they are not open on Sundays.

Agree with all the reviews here. Excellent, honest, 100% professional, no-BS service.
Without going into detail, the process took longer that expected. Anyway, instead of being a douche-tard con-artist jack*ss like many plumbers/contractors, he made it a point to admit the extra time wasn't my fault, and not only to fix the problem but also knock some $ off for the extra time it took. The work was completed, and they even cleaned up after!!!
They are getting my business from now on and I've already referred them to my condo-neighbors, parents, friends that live local.

This is a great store if you’re a cook who is looking for kitchen supplies. It’s hard to walk out of this store without buying something. Amongst the items they sell here are cheeses and spices. The food here is delicious (though expensive) and the cafe has some pretty scrumptious things as well. You can also get basic stuff such as stockpots.

I was blown away the second I stepped into this orchid oasis in Culver City. Winding through hundreds of orchids each more beautiful then the next.... and I was amazed by the prices. It is the highest quality for the lowest price I have seen in LA. The staff is helpful and the orchids I bought have lasted five times as long as the ones I have picked up at TJ's or florist. This is my new favorite spot!

More
I've gone to Cook's nearly ten times for dinner now; part of what I love is how each time has been a different, but wonderful experience. The menu is constantly changing, with a few absolute customer favs that stay on as staples. I can bring my meat eater buddies who drool over the slow roasted brisket, or vegan friends who can choose from an ever-increasing menu of innovative "faceless" dishes.
Some of my favorite appetizers are the crabcakes and the blue corn crusted tempeh. They pair well with a glass of (well-priced!) wine, which the waiters have always been helpful in recommending. Experimentation is the name of the game here. If you're feeling out-of-the-box, try attending one of their monthly "sustainable supper" dinners with all locally grown vegan fare. Some dishes are still works in progress, but they're always, always wonderful to try. And the best part--Jenny is right there to talk about them with you!
I will warn that certain dishes on regular nights may be sold out because the place takes such pride in making things fresh; extras are never left sitting around all day (I'll get you one day turkey meatloaf!). My best advice is to try the place three times. It's like the love that you didn't notice at first, but grows over time. Or you can order an AMAZING Jivana vegan cake to go (How do they make that faux buttercream so good?) and fall in love right away like I did!
