When I became engaged to my husband, I immediately went in search for that perfect-for-me wedding dress. And the first place I looked for the dress was near my home in Covington, LA - Bridal Manor.
I was actually thrilled to be engaged for so many reasons - love, marriage, a diamond ring, but also to be able to officially go shopping at Bridal Manor. You see, Bridal Manor is in such a quaint little house-looking store right off of a fairly busy road. It had pretty gowns hanging in the windows for drivers to see.
I haven't been to Bridal Manor is nearly 4 years now, as I relocated to where my husband was from, but if it's like it was 4 years ago, it is a great place to find a wedding dress.
This store offers something for every bride. It has very expensive dresses, as well as nice dresses at deep discounts. I found the perfect dress for me that was only $200! Being able to buy my dress for $200 seemed like a huge miracle!
The store is rather small, so if you come at the right time you can get lots of help finding your type of dresses, trying them on, and prancing around in them. Otherwise it may be rather crowded or you will have to wait for someone to assist you.
If you're engaged and live in Louisiana anywhere near Covington, Mandeville, or Madisonville, I would highly recommend you take a few hours and go to Bridal Manor to see their bridal gown selection.

Pizza Man is the best pizza around! They have been reviewed and written up by food critics from around the area. They are only open for dinner and it can get a little crowded. It's a great spot for kids. There is a large window where you can watch your pizza being made, which is always fun for the kids. They also have a jukebox with lots of cool old songs. Think Puff the Magic Dragon . . .

The owners are always so honest! I was told by somebody else that I needed some work done, and went to them intending to spend money, and all I really needed was to rotate my tires. Quick service too, everytime.

I've been going to the Pizza Man since I was a little girl. The pizza is INCREDIBLE. REAL pizza..not fake franchise pizza, baked in a real pizza oven with fresh ingredients, nothing frozen. The people who gave this pizza a bad review are people who do not know what real pizza should taste like. They are used to fast food pizza. This is the real deal with old world ambiance and family oriented service. I have been standing at his window watching him draw hearts in the flour for 30 years and now I bring my own children to watch and enjoy his fabulous pizza. Please don't listen to the negative reviews. If you want REAL pizza this is the place to go. Want fast food junk..go to Dominos.

Fully ensured contractor that knows what they are doing. Don't trust your tree removal problems to fly by night contractors that don't know what they are doing. JRH worked with me to remove several trees that threatened my home in Covington. They proved to be a very good choice. Exceeded my expectations.

I am surprised this place is still in business. Their food is absolutely horrible and the service is even worse. The chicken always tastes like it has been cooked in days old grease. The service is very bad. The employees are extremely rude and not pleasant to deal with.
