This has the rep of being a good late-night place, so when we were looking for dinner at 11:30 on a Saturday night, this was our choice. Big mistake. We asked if the kitchen was open and got an emphatic "yes of course" and were seated outside. The waitress wasn't particularly friendly or attentive but I guess she was just tired at that hour. That, however, is no excuse for what followed. Before our appetizers arrived we were asked to order dessert as the kitchen was now closing. Was it ever? The dessert actually arrived while we were still eating our appetizers. Followed shortly after by the bill. And not only that, but we were told to "take care of that" as soon as possible.
I won't even comment on the food - it's completely irrelevant with that kind of service.
Cons: rude service

My wife came here with her family over the holidays and couldn't stop talking about this place. Now I see why! It's a uber-romantic place to dine with sexy food and drinks to boot. Sangria and mojitos are winners, and my wife had their delicious vegetarian tamale. The flank steak was good, but I'm looking forward to having the pork next time! All in all, Habana's got flavor and style for days!
Pros: Romantic setting, Great food and drinks, 'anti-mall' next door

This is not the typical OC, closed at 9PM, quiet, boring, bland, cookie-cutter joint. This place is original with a good looking & caring staff, amazing ambiance - an 11 - love the music and candles and tables, good food, great bar with a very unique & affordable wine list. I go several times a week and it doesn't get tired. They actually like seeing you!
The parking lot is a mess though - why not build an underground structure?
PS - It's a bargain.
Pros: Staff & Price, Wine and Bar, Ambiance / Music
