My wife and i just moved into area looking for new york style pizza and friend recommened us to go this small mom and pop place called Als New york cafe. i took my friends advice went ordered a xtralarge cheese pizza ,a chicken parmesan withch could feed two people , the place was bizzy on a thrusday night phone ringing the hook ,the cooks making pizza after pizza ,it was a happy fun paced eniviroment it felt like i was still back east.Our pizza came out with the chicken parmesan ,let me teel you it was just like the rays pizza in new york were i went every friday whaw my wife and i were imazed how awsome this pizza is for a little mom and pop also the pasta was great .Finally i had found a place i could enjoy a good hardy meal with great service and positive people.also this place very affordable. I come find out the place has been there 14 yrs .i truly want to thank the person who has put this place togethere ,i not need to go to new york for pizza again thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: great prices,good food , good service
Cons: parking hard but worth going into ,recomend to call in and pick up

It makes so much sense to order takeout food online. I have been waiting for a website like liveonthego for so long. It makes ordering lunch while I am working so much faster, I no longer spend my lunch break waiting in lines and waiting for my food to be prepared it is ready and waiting for me when I walk in the restaurant. I would highly recommended this site.

If your looking for a hidden gem this is the place!
From the outside its a bit plain but once inside its clean and comfortable with friendly staff and good food at great prices. The pizza is all hand made the old way and the best I have had in a long time. They also have a full menu that ranges from Pizza (duh) to steaks, sandwiches, salads and the usual bar munchies. My friend had something the waiter called westside ribs that were Fantastic. They have nightly specials Monday Spaghetti Night $4.95, Endless Happy Hour on Tuesday, Live stand up comedy on Wednesday (thats when we went), Karaoke on Thursday and the coolest Sunday Brunch ever (wear your pajamas and get 25% off your food)
There is also live music on different nights. good bands
Pros: Great food, great prices, full bar, live entertainment

I'm a real fan of the new Southern Italian trend, and Pizzeria Ortica is hard to beat. The appetizers were delicious and a tad less expensive than other such restaurants, the wines by the glass were unique and tasty, and of course, the pizza. The perfect combination of chewy and crisp, with delicious, well-chosen ingredients. Highly recommended, all around.
Pros: Delicious, high-end Italian

It's a favorite of my coworkers! They introduced me to the great cuisine and friendly, personable staff and I've been hooked ever since. Reasonable prices and extensive menu. I've had their pizza and chicken fettucini alfredo, which is literally the best I've ever had!

Some of the best baked treats are located here. This bakery, recently damged due to a fire, is up and running and still makes great food. The cakes here and the cookies are outstanding and very affordable. Personally, it is one of my favorite bakeries. The area around it is crouded by many other stores, so it is somewhat difficult to find. However, the inside is very pleasant and the staff is great.

This little restaurant has been around for ever. Has changed owner's twice but you can't tell from the food or service. Drive by in the morning and you can smell the garlic in their sauce. I only order my pizza from them they have great specials and superb menue with lunch and dinner specials as well. Domenico's is across from Papa John's pizza and didn't feel any difference in patrons. They have loyal patronage. give them a try dine in take out or delivery

Without a doubt, this is the best pizza I've had outside of Italy.
This place is perfect if you like thin/medium crust pizza, but really shines here are the fresh and delicious toppings. This is one of the few pizza places where I can eat a few slices and not feel sick to my stomach afterwards. I would suggest going for one of the numbered pizzas (California style is my favorite) instead of trying to create your own. There are also some pasta dishes, sandwiches, and salads, which I've tried, and they're pretty good as well. I really enjoyed the turkey sandwich.
The price is a little bit higher than other pizza places, but you're not getting cruddy Pizza Hut. The owner, Sam, is a really nice guy and has been in the neighborhood for many years now. I believe they deliver within a three mile radius and they usually close shop around 9:30-10:00.

The food was ok, as was to be expected. This is the second Wolfgang Puck's I've been to in So. Cal., and aside the squash soup, the rest is just "ok". Our waiter was rather rude, and not satisfied with our tip (we even tipped the average 15%), he actually charged our card more! And followed us out of the restaurant to make sure it was paid. Very strange. Nevertheless I will not return.
