I CRAVE FOR THE CREAM CHEESE WAGON WHEELS ONCE A WEEK. MY WIFE, FRIENDS AND FAMILY ARE HOOKED ON THIS AS WELL. NOW MY CO-WORKERS ARE BEGGING FOR ME TO BRING THIS EVERY FRIDAY FOR BREAKFAST. I HAD TO START A COLLECTION JAR BECAUSE THEY NEVER PAID ME BACK. I LOVE THIS BAKERY. THE TRES LECHE CAKE IS ANOTHER FAVORITE OF MINE...SO MOIST AND DELIGHFUL! OK, NOW IM CRAVING FOR SOME RIGHT NOW. JUST GOT MY TAX REFUND SO I'LL BE THERE FIRST THING IN THE MORNING..ORDERING LOTS OF STUFF! I'D RATHER PAY FOR WAGON WHEELS THEN PAY MY CELLPHONE BILL. OH WAGON WHEELS DONT EVER ROLL AWAY! If your looking for a hidden gem this is the place!
From the outside its a bit plain but once inside its clean and comfortable with friendly staff and good food at great prices. The pizza is all hand made the old way and the best I have had in a long time. They also have a full menu that ranges from Pizza (duh) to steaks, sandwiches, salads and the usual bar munchies. My friend had something the waiter called westside ribs that were Fantastic. They have nightly specials Monday Spaghetti Night $4.95, Endless Happy Hour on Tuesday, Live stand up comedy on Wednesday (thats when we went), Karaoke on Thursday and the coolest Sunday Brunch ever (wear your pajamas and get 25% off your food)
There is also live music on different nights. good bands
Pros: Great food, great prices, full bar, live entertainment

If you're looking for ambience or health food, go somewhere else. You're not going to like eating here, anyway. But, if you're looking for something quick and delicious and very possibly greasy (you get to choose how your food is prepared, including the amount of oil used [hint: more is better]), Pan Asia is the ticket. It's a somewhat sketchy little hole-in-the wall, the service can be inattentive, and the task of keeping track of one's food may be a little too cognitively taxing for the inexperienced/mentally deficient. For a restauraunt in its class (full sit-down chinese meal, with tax and tip, for less than $8), these things cannot be held against it. It's a bit scruffy, but that's what makes it good.
protip: pour some hot tea on your frozen meat shreds and squish them down with the bottom of your tea cup before piling on the vegetation.
Pros: delicious, fast, cheap
Cons: inattentive service, "confusing", very busy at night

A cheap bar with lots of pool tables and 75c pool. Some decent looking women there - a good place to go for beer and billiards - it's a dive bar, but if that's what you're looking for, it's a good dive bar.

My friend brought me here a couple days ago and I loved it! It was my first time eating nigiri sushi, so I was skeptical about trying anything. However, all the fish was extremely fresh and the appetizers were exquisite! My favorite is the salmon sushi. It comes with a slice of avocado and green onions on top, then it's lightly drizzled with ponzu, I believe. The flavors mesh very well together and the textures compliment one another nicely. Taka, the sushi chef, is very friendly and has no problem conjuring up a conversation with those sitting at the sushi bar. If you get dessert, you must try the pineapple sorbet! It's to die for!

Salad dressings are made fresh daily and are great. The baked ziti and garlic bread are terrific. Homemade carrot cake, perfect. This restaurant is a great find. We'll be back often.

Native Foods is a vegan/vegetarian diner with a variety of different foods from all over the world. The one that is closest to me is in Costa Mesa, at The Camp. It is nestled in between Active and a yoga studio. You will see a round tin colored building, and that is Native Foods. My first time there, I ordered the Chicken Ranch Burger to go. The food got to me very quicky, and came in a cardboard recyclable box. Inside was my burger with tasty seasoned fries. Hungry now? The chicken, of course, is not real chicken. It is made out of seitan and tofu. I am not much of a meat-eater so I can't say that it tasted like chicken, but it was absolutely delicious. Native Foods also offers miso soup, sushi, jambalaya's, salad, sandwiches, chips, ect...all 100% natural and cruelty-free!
