The breakfast at Chester Drawers is worth the short wait you will likely have to endure in order to get a table (especially on a Sunday). Everything is fresh, delicious and nicely priced. The decor is ecclectic, interesting, and historic. The staff is friendly and efficient. It is hands down my favorite place to go for breakfast in Newport Beach CA.

I had a problem with this Jamba Juice location at first. But after complain to their HQ, the place have become much better. Before, the worker there would keep you waiting and forget what you order. A normal transaction else where take around 10 mins. This place would take 20 mins. I complain to the HQ and got a letter of apologize and a few free jamba. I took my free card and give it another try. This time they were great. Their transaction time actually decrease by 50%. No it only take me 10 mins to get my jamba juice and on the way out without have to complain.

Subway has the best and healthiest sandwich that I know of. A normal sandwich there has only 6 gram of fat. I love to eat here. It good for my heart, but also it has plenty of vegetable for my daily need. Great sandwich, great store, and great price. What more can you ask for. Highly recommend to everyone.

If you like greek food, a good place to eat in Costa Mesa is Daphne's Greek Cafe. Daphne's is a chain and I know there are many locations in Orange County. My compliments have to go out to the Costa Mesa Restaurant on Harbor.
My co worker and I love to have lunch here. You walk in and the lines are long sometimes, but it goes by fast. Once you order you get your drink and sit at a table. They have plenty of outdoor tables too if you like to tan and eat :o). The food is brought out to you like a full service restaurant. There are no waiters but the staff is so attentive and came out twice to make sure we did not need anything.
The Restaurant is clean and the price for their lunch specials is a good value.
If you are in a rush. Go to their website and order your food on line. You not only get a free drink if you order on line. But your order will be ready when you get there.

If you love flavorful Italian food- this is the place to go. It is not the biggest restaurant, but they have a great patio. On the weekends there is live music so if you were to sit outside you can enjoy your wine while listening to an array of local performers.
I recommend ordering the linguine bolognese with extra sauce, It's messy but wonderful.
Great place to bring friends and family at a great price.

They even have live entertainment. All of this and the prices are unbelievable low. Where else can you get a great meal (huge portions) in a nice restaurant with live entertainment all FOR $6.95!!! There is something different...something special...about Wahoo's...something that you will only know by going there and trying them yourself. In addition, this market also offers small shops like bookstore (where you can find Japanese magazines, comics, CDs, etc), video store, sanrio-like store (where you can find the cutest stationery), and they even have a food court. Well, if you're looking to have some fun at a barbecue with friends, this is the place to be! Just thinking about Anjin makes my mouth water. They are open for lunch and dinner, but the dinner gets my number one vote! They open at 5pm, and stay open until the wee hours (1 am, at least). Located at Bristol and Paularino, this Japanese BBQ restaurant is sure to win you over with their distinctive dipping sauces (be sure to add extra garlic!) and their fast, friendly service. Be prepared to wait as seating is limited; customers sign in at the big book in front and may leave a cell phone number if there is a long line. Try off hours: closer to opening or later at night--reservations are not available.
My favorites: the #5 (prime rib eye), the stone pot rice, and the seaweed/red leaf lettuce salad. For those willing to try the exotic, they also serve tongue and beef sashimi! Once you've eaten your fill, finish it off with their out-of-this world cappuccino ice cream (the green tea is great, too). A must try!
