I ordered hardwood flooring for the dining/kitchen area from these crooks. The product arrived on time and was installed as stated. All was well until a salad bowl accidentally fell from the table and broke. The strangest thing happened...a top layer of flooring sheared off. Further examination proved that the flooring installed was NOT what we had ordered! A classic example of Bait and Switch! Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Go to some place reputable.

Even after reading the reviews on this site, I still went ahead and ordered some flooring from this store. I was quoted a price that was reasonable based on other estimates I received. I placed an order with Mansour/Pierre on 11/20 and paid in full for 300+ sq.ft of hardwood flooring. He promised me a 5 day turnaround. 5 days came and went, as did two more weeks with no call from Mansour informing me that the product had arrived at his store (it had to be ordered from a supplier in San Juan Capistrano). When I called on the 7th of December, he told me that I should just go down to the San Juan supplier and pick up the flooring myself as a will-call order. This was something we had discussed initially, but I had reconsidered due to the supplier's business hours. Nonetheless, Mansour tells me this is how I am to receive my product. I found out the next day that this was the first the supplier had heard about this order. Apparently this hardwood is always in stock at the distributor's warehouse and is basically available within the same day. Mansour NEVER PLACED THE ORDER. He basically collected over $2000 from me on 11/20 and never informed the distributor of the order. Had I not called, I doubt I would have ever received a call from Mansour. He was happy to take my money, but that would likely have been the last I would have heard from him. I don't know if this guy is just plain dishonest, or what, but the whole transaction felt very shifty. Basically Mansour collected what was probably a $6-700 markup for doing NOTHING but making a phone call to the distributor. I even had to pick up my own product! Good thing I have a nice, strong American truck. I would not do business with these people ever again and I recommend no one else reading this does either. After thoroughly researching the cost to purchase and install high quality wood flooring, we found Pierre's shop to have the lowest price (he was $1000 under the lowest price we obtained). With such a good price, would the quality of the install be compromised? To our great pleasure, it exceeded our expectations. His two workman were EXTREMELY conscientious and EXTREMELY competent. They were careful moving our heavy furniture, our curios, etc. which had to be moved from one side of the house to the other and back again. No extra charge for moving or for the extra work for the additional prep work under our carpet (scraping of unexpected excess tile residue, etc.). These guys took the time to do everything perfectly! We are very happy and would heartily recommend them to anyone. You do need to stay in contact with Pierre because of his busy schedule - all in all, a great job! PROS: Great price, quality installation. CONS: Wasn't the best at keeping to scheduled appointments.

I shopped around, have been to many stores in the area, and found this store to be honest, helpful, and most importantly with the lowest prices. (although he did seem very busy, but I saw that as a good sign...) I worked with Pierre Savoji and found him to be very honest, have recommended him to friends and neighbors, and will continue to recommend him to anyone. (I purchased over 20K in hardwood flooring and carpeting, and from based on other quotes have saved thousands of dollars doing business with him) PROS: lowest price, punctual, friendly service CONS: they seemed busy but met my expectations fully

Te owner of this business, Pierre Savoji, AKA Mansour Ali Reza Savoji, was dishonest and intent on cheating me from day one. He charged me a lot more for carpet and tile than he originally quoted. I told him the approximate square feet of carpet and tile I needed. When he measured and the result was considerably lower than I estimated he never adjusted the balance. He charged me for things that he said he would throw in for free. The carpet installation was very poorly done and he changed it but it was still poorly done but instead of fixing the problem he used very fowl, bullying language until I had to demand that he leave my home. I gave him an $1800. deposit which was never reflected in my billing, although I have a receipt. Abby Carpet said I had to get him to make the adjustments on my bill (I made the mistake of getting 0 per cent financing and Abby Carpet turns out to be a subsidiary of GE Money Bank)he has made no adjustments to my bill except to add costs I never approved. He is a very big crook. I sued him in small claims court and the judge said he doesn't owe me anything although he signed a statement that he would be responsible for any damage his crew did. He did $500. worth of damage and hasn't paid me one cent of it. The judge said he made the decision he made because my witness talked to much.

I purchased carpeting for my home from Newport Carpet and Tile and after about a year, I noticed it was discolored throughout my home. The owner of the store came to my house, looked at it and said it was defective. He said he called his rep and they would replace the carpet at no charge. Since then, he won't return my phone calls and has never contacted me. I have since checked on his business with the Better Business Bureau and found he a very bad rating (a grade of F.... on a scale of A to F). I have given up trying to get any satisfaction.....but hopefullly you won't be a victim!
