We "discovered" Monteverde almost by accident - and are so glad we did! We had been boating on the Hudson and felt a little undressed but the staff treated us like royalty - honestly - they couldn't be more accomodating. The food was of the highest caliber - a little pricey but worth every penny and more. We loved absolutely everything - the food was chic, upscale, different and INCREDIBLE. Even the coffee is served w/flair and is wonderful. We can't wait to go back again and again. It's a bit of a drive for us but well worth it on special occasions when it's important everything is perfect. We were even fortunate to be there while a wedding was going on outside overlooking the Hudson (and I forgot to mention the breathtaking setting and views!!!!) - yet the way everything was handled the wedding in no way interfered - in fact it added to our overall experience there - and it was sunset no less! If there were more than 5 stars they deserve it.

Taconic Chevrolet has the best prices, ever! I was amazed by the salespeople and managers there ... they treated me like they wanted my business. Very different from Croton Auto Park -- they did not even take me seriously. Taconic had a much better selection too and a great service department.

King Buffet on Route 6 is one of the best buffets I've ever been to. The food is always fresh and plentiful. The prices are reasonable and the staff are pleasant. I am usually not a big fan of buffets because they aren't as good as when you place an individual order but this place has changed my mind. The food is hot and fresh. My personal favorite is the salt and pepper shrimp and the chicken with broccoli. I don't think I ever leave this buffet before eating at least 2 plates of food. From the rice to the dumplings to the stuffed shrimp its all good. To finish it all off, they have soft serve vanilla and chocolate ice cream that you can top with sprinkles, chocolate syrup, and peanuts. The sweet buns are soft and sugary like they should be. I always leave the King Buffet full and satisfied.

These gentlemen are real professionals and are also the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. We look forward to the next time we can utilize them with jobs in our home. They have done several construction and finishing jobs with our total satisfaction. They are careful, clean, and do the job right. This company is great. It has the best level of service of any travel agency that I have ever used. You get personalized service from the owner. She is very nice, efficient and prompt. You will not be disappointed!!!!

KIng Buffet is a nice place to go for a Chinese buffet. It is easy to find right off Route 300. Their buffet is often very eclectic with many choices. Don't just get your usual and try new things out, you never know you could find a new favorite. Their sweet and sour chicken is excellent
