Best home town environment for miles around. Great food. Friendly service. Talk about a home town wonder, this place is it. If you want to have Denny's or Coco's or Mimi's personalities serve you, then go there. This is more like going to your aunt's house for a family reunion. You'll just go take a seat if it's available and if not, you wait on a small bench. Everyone in line is friendly and part of the lore of this place. I especially liked the cornbread pancakes with chili on top. Friendly service, friendly guests, you borrow the sugar off the table next to you and you often see others you know. A great gathering place. It reminded me of Egg Heaven in Long Beach when I went there as a young college lad. Fun. Layed back. It burned down and was rebuilt. The people serving you are more like family than a food server. The kids, 3 and 6, loved it. Crowded and noisy, it seemed like home in a way. If you live anywhere near here, go there! Pros: Family atmosphere Cons: Small restaurant

I don't recommend it at all. Will never go there again. Disappointed. I have a 7 year old that can't go a day without pancakes. If it would have been good they would have a customer for life. Guess we will go back to McDonalds. Does that tell you how bad they were? Pros: None Cons: Dirty, food was nasty and the service was just as bad

The pancakes and breakfast items that this restaurant offers were very tasty, and it really gave a positive start to my day. However, one thing that wasn’t very comforting was the hygiene of the restaurant, which was a little discomforting to me. The waiters and waitresses seemed to be a little disgruntled at waking up early to be serving breakfast, meaning the customer service was a little negative. If the food hadn’t been so good, the rating could have possibly been lower.

This truly a place that families can go get a great breakfast see someone they know for a cheap price. This place is truly a land mark in Corona. they usually have a line but it goes by really quick. The owners are always there serving you and they remember you too. The staff is very friendly I wanted to order something for my kids and they told me it was quite big and maybe I would want to share it with them. That means the world they could have gotten a few more dollars out of me but they thought of me first! The food comes really fast which is important when you are dealing with kids. You will make this a tradition for Saturday for your family too!

If the Chuck Wagon isn't the oldest restaurant in Corona, than the Silver Dollar Pancake House must be. Specializing in breakfast, of course, the thing to order ispancakes. I have never seen such a selection of pancakes as I have on the Silver Dollar's menu, and all of them good. There is the traditional fare of pancakes and syrup and pancakes with a fruit topping of your choice, as well as more exotic choices as potato pancakes with apple sauce, chili pancakes with cheese (the cakes are a corn-cake similar to cornbread, not to be missed) and even chocolate chip pancakes. There is also a large selection of other breakfast fare such as steak and eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, and even some lunch items. All are delicious, but the pancakes are what everyone remembers. The prices are just as good as the cakes, nice and low, and the staff are always friendly and attentive. PROS: The pancakes, the breakfast menu and the lunch menu. CONS: Huge wait for breakfast and lunch on weekends.
