Now this mall has got to be my all time favorite place to kill a few hours, find the best asiago bread on earth or simply watch ice hockey enthusiasts bat around the puck!
This mall opened it's doors in mid July of l998 and in the past 7 years has seen literally millions pf persons come through its doors! Housing over 100 stores and a huge food court, Coralridge Mall is a shoppers delight.
Some of the stores found in the mall or on its outskirts are Pier One, Claires, Panerra Bread, JC Penney, Dillards, Barnes and Noble, Foot Locker, Old Navy, FYE music, Hot Topic, Rue 21, and of course Scheels, a huge sports superstore which has every type of fan appareal and accessory you could dream of.
This mall is conveniently located just off I-80. With ample parking at just about any time of the year (except for a couple of weeks before Christmas and Black Friday) there is no end to the bargains and merchandise you can find within this mall.
If you are coming into town for one reason or another, make Coralridge Mall on the top of your list of places to visit. I promise you won't be sorry....oh, and about the bargains.....they are there....you just have to look! ;-)

When I’m ready to purchase the best “Labor Day” deals, the first store that I head to Kohls. I love our local Kohls store and this is where we buy a lot of my daughter’s school clothes. What should I buy this “Labor Day?” Well the sales ad isn’t out yet, but I can usually get some great ideas from the Kohls website http://www.kohls.com/main/home.jsp . I do go to Dillards in the Coral ridge Mall. I like the wide range of sizes Dillards carries and also the variety of styles. When it is sale time their prices are really reduced. You can't beat 75% off the original price and then take another 25 or 30% off. This means I can buy some quality clothing for very low prices. Not all the clothing they carry is of the highest quality. They do stock lower priced things but once again you get what you pay for.
I have found the employees helpful but not harrassing all the time. The store also has a large jewelry and cosmetics area. In store make-up consultations are free of charge. There is a home shopping area also.
One thing I would like changed is the number of displays in the walkways. It seems to be getting worse all the time and I've noticed people pushing wheelchairs have difficulty getting through some aisles.
Over all Dillards is a nice store to shop in.

While shopping the other day I happened upon this store. I was at first amused then amazed....amused at the name...WHAT'S INNOW...and it's subtle yet blatant way to grab your attention...and amazed, at the variety of items in this store that I never knew existed beyond mags and TV ads.
The array of items ranging from practical....nice little items for the gadget crazy guy in your life (who might actually use it!) to ridiculous (items that promise a sculpted body ala Suzanne Sommers! Of course I didn't fall for the last item, having passed that "perfect body" stage in my life, but I must admit I did succumb to the "gadgets" having a father who really enjoys such things.
Approaching the checkout, I was acknowledged and welcomed into the store. The employees were not only pleasant but knowledgeable if you can call recognizing all the stuff in the store knowledgeable!;-) ) I was checked out in no time and encouraged to return..."after all the stock changes often!" A statement I can well believe, having received many of the items in this store at holidays from persons who don't know what else to give me....do I use them?...well let's just say,
Salvation Army always gets quite a haul in January!
My bottom line...though a small store with limited inventory, this is a fun place to browse and there ARE some items that would make good gifts....just know the recipient well before you buy....I'd hate to wait in a line at S.A. ! Happy shopping!
