Think you're getting value at Doctor's Valu Vision in Cookeville TN, Think again! the Buy one pair and get one pair free is not true. You'll pay twice the price for the first pair. It took three weeks for the glasses to come in. they promised 10 days tops. the office manager was very rude when we called to inquire about the glasses, they don't call you when your glasses come either, its ur responsiblity to contact them. we made three trips to cookeville for nothing. I will not use Doctor's Valu Vision again, and i don't recommend anyone else does either. You'll leave feeling ripped off. more

After trying 2 pairs of EXPENSIVE glasses at the Eye Center on Willow and multiple, multiple return trips to try to get them fixed (finally gave up), I tried Value Vision and got two pairs for the price of one from the previous place I had used. BOTH Value Vision pairs gave me great vision- and the fitter (Brad) spent the time needed to make careful adjustments of the nose piece, the stems (NONE of this, "oh, you will get used to them" casualness). They did it and did it right the first time. I am taking my expensive frames and my expensive lenses purchased elsewhere (so sad) and getting ValuVision to replace the lenses so, at least, I can use my expensive frames. I really like the optometrist at ValuVision, too, so I will be a repeat customer for sure. Very friendly, very competent folks and all that matters- I can see really well again. more

Doctors value Vision is located in the Sears/Goody's shopping center in Cookeville. They have an optometrist on staff for your eye care needs. You can make an appointment or test your luck and try doing a walk in. At certain times of the day, it's pretty easy to be seen as a walk in. The optometrist there is great. They have a huge selection of frames to choose from. Your glasses are usually made quickly, unless you have a tricky script or want the dissapearing tint or something. They have good specials and slaes. they also take most insurance. If you need prescription safety glasses for work, they have a good selection. more
