I can't believe that some of the last reviews have been bad. I make it a weekly to bi-weekly effort to go the Thurmans. Just from being in there, I can tell you that everyone in there has a good time. The people writing these complaints are probably the ones who want there butts wiped for them. The service there is different, but great. They don't baby you here, but they do have fun with you; it feels like a second home. The food is fresh, high quality, relatively inexpensive, and darn good.
I RECOMMEND THE BLEU CHEESEBURGER WITH BACON (and I like it rare). WITH A PITCHER OF LIENE RED.
There is usually a pretty good wait there, but I don't see it as a wait. My Thurman experience starts out in the lobby. Getting to the table is just the next phase. We get pretzel bites and a pitcher while we hang out in the lobby. If you go out with friends, then hanging out for an hour or two really isn't so bad.
I love the Thurman Cafe!!!
Pros: Burgers, Atmosphere, The Wait!!!
Cons: What are the drawbacks?

Okay, if you live in Columbus and don't know that Thurmans has great, huge burgers then you are really out of it, but I want to tell you about their Italian sub. It is the largest, meatiest Italian sub I have found in all of Columbus. I get it hot so that the cheese is oozing and bread is toasted and warm. They also generously juice the sub up with some Italian dressing, that just makes me feel all happy in side. Serve it up with a basket of fries and you have some serious comfort food. So if the burger just isn't what you are looking for try the Italian sub, if you are looking for take out, ask them to put the dressing on the side, so the bread doesn't get soggy. Enjoy.

We eat pizza and lasagna and salads from Mama Mimi's at least a few times per month. It's fast, easy and tastes great, and the kids love the pizza too. Love to eat the breadsticks while we're waiting for the pizza to finish cooking.
Pros: fast, friendly service, awesome tasting food, unique pizzas
Cons: none

I am an asian male new to the Columbus area and decided to search online for a good barber shop. This place seemed to have plenty of good reviews so I gave it a shot. I got a haircut by A*. Whenever you are getting a haircut you can feel how confident the barber/stylist is while cutting your hair. I must say from the moment A* started cutting my hair I knew he had no cofidence or felt like an amateur cutting hair. I know this from experience. I have had ameteurs (friends) and professional stylists cut my hair and know the feeling.
Yes. The haircut was $12 but it was not worth it. I have gotten haircuts for $15 and are excellent and stylsh. After I got my haircut, I got home and took a closer look at it. First of all, my sideburns where not cut evenly nor properly. They were also slanted. Secondly, I noticed that the hair on the side of my head was also uneven, I can feel it with my hands! I can even notice it a lot more now that it has been 2 weeks since my haircut. I had also asked him to texturize my hair and he passed the texturing scissors all over my head with no thought into it. It is terribly
It is terribly hard to style my hair with the uneveness left from my visit to this barber shop It seems as thought there are a lot of customers though. Yeah, customers in their 50s. Trust me, if you want a decent hair cut, just find some other place.
Maybe if you have curly hair, you might not notice the unevenness, but if you have straight asian hair forget about it.

My project group has been meeting at a few of the Panera Bread locations near campus... the one toward Clintonville and also the one way north on 23 have seperate rooms that you can reserve to spread out your books and discussions. Then there's the coffee, which might come in handy. I know there are a few that don't have the meeting rooms, but the newer ones do.

This little hole-in-the-wall near campus has great pizza and great breadsticks. You have to really appreciate crust (which I do) to like their pizza because it is thick. The sauce is zesty (but not HOT). My vegan friends go here for pizza because it is the only crust in central Ohio that is vegan-friendly. For a cheap lunch, I suggest just an order of breadsticks and saunce. They are cheap and filling.

fun place to go with large group or just for a romantic dinner for two, as long as you have similar eating habits as those u go with. i've only ever had macaroni rosa, which is sooo good! it has macaroni noodles with broccoli, mushrooms, peas, and chicken and a tomato cream sauce. i also HIGHLY recommend their tomato/mozzarella salad.
Pros: lots to choose from, atmosphere
Cons: sharing dinner recommended (pro or con, depending)

Out of the 3 Greek restaurants I've been able to check out in Columbus, I enjoy King Gyro the most. The sauce they use ( I believe it is tzatziki) is great. It is not watery like some places and has a great balance of the cucumber and garlicky flavor.
They have courteous, good service and everything on the menu has been tasty. From the baklava to the chicken gyros, to the lamb gyros and the Greek version of chicken noodle soup- it has a lemony flavor... every thing's been delicious.
