Okay, if you live in Columbus and don't know that Thurmans has great, huge burgers then you are really out of it, but I want to tell you about their Italian sub. It is the largest, meatiest Italian sub I have found in all of Columbus. I get it hot so that the cheese is oozing and bread is toasted and warm. They also generously juice the sub up with some Italian dressing, that just makes me feel all happy in side. Serve it up with a basket of fries and you have some serious comfort food. So if the burger just isn't what you are looking for try the Italian sub, if you are looking for take out, ask them to put the dressing on the side, so the bread doesn't get soggy. Enjoy.

Thurmans is a small bar and restaurant located in Columbus, Ohio in the German Village. From the first moment of walking in you are overwhelmed with the surrounding. There are many video games that grace the area in the waiting room, and once you are into the eating section of the restaurant there is no inch of the walls that isn't covered. All over there are pictures, advertisements, money, letters, notes, mementos and anything else you can think of to stick on a wall, and thats just the view. Thurman's is most famous for their burgers that could put a grown man to shame. At least a half pound of meat on your buns, along with lettuce, cheese, bacon or whatever you would like on your sandwich. They also usually come with chips, which seem to be kettle-cooked. And just in case you need a drink to take the edge off things, theres plenty of room at the bar.
