This is a gorgeous park with more roses than you could imagine. It has a gazebo for bands to perform and a tower that you can climb and see the entire park. They have a wonderful fourth of July show.

this is a great park that really has it all within the area. There is a nearby bike trial which borders an additonal park within whetstone called the park of roses and it is just gorgeous. have seen weddings there and in other areas of whetstone. great place. i also like taking people from out of town that arent expecting the cool park to be in the middle of ohio or columbus. always reminds me of a place in DC for some reason and is so well kept that that may be why!

Wexner Center For The Arts is the best center in Columbus. It's not because that it is located in OSU campus. It's professional, high quality staffs and professors supervising the center achieve this. You can not only see the most modern arts including painings, films, and all types of arts that you can imagine in the world, you will also be able to see the performers in person and talk with them and know what they are thinking behind their performance. Thanks for Wexner center providing us such opportunities.

Part of the Columbus Parks & Rec...ok. You have to go next door first and aquire something called a Lesiure Card for $5. This has your picture on it and allows you to get in the compound. Each time you go it costs fifty cents. I refer to it as a compound because the whole pool area is walled, and the top of the walls are festooned with barbed wire and loudspeakers. (I never saw another butterfly...) There is a grown-up pool and a kiddie pool with a mushroom, the usual rest periods, and some grassy bits on which to lie which feature an inordinate amount of ants. The population is interesting and loud; "name that ethnicity" is a fun game to play with friends, until the general lassitude takes over and you put a book on your face and pass out. The livin' is easy...

They ran an ad after I visited the store the week before. I went in and they did not have what they advertised, eliptcal machine. In fact they took out a bunch of machines they had the week before and only had 3 on the floor.
The store is old and worn. Not anything like the better lit, cleaner Dicks or Galyans in the area. Would not go back or recommend the store to anyone.

My husband and I were on our way to a different store in the same strip mall, when we decided to check out Starchild (impulse, I guess. My husband likes these kinds of stores). The first thing I noticed is that it's very small. Also, while the two men inside asked if they could help us with anything, it seems like they didn't think we needed to be there- like we were intruding, or like they were in a hurry to have us leave. And my husband asked them if they had a particular item in stock, they said they did not. So we left. It wasn't a very impressive store, to be honest. Maybe it was just the poor lighting LOL

I don't go camping that often so whenever I do go I usually need to buy quite a few of the standard kind of supplies. The selection here is really pretty great and the staff are really knowledgeable. They also refill propane tanks on site so I go there whenever my home grill tank gets empty. The prices do seem to be a bit more than you might pay somewhere else but if you factor in going multiple places to get everything you need then its not really that much of a difference.
