If you want cosmetic treatments, then knock yourself out. If you want medical care, better service elsewhere. Good luck with getting service! If you need a Rx refill or faxed to pharmacist, they won't do it--even if you have been there a long time. You have to go in, pay your copay and get your Rx refilled. Then they won't even fax it to the pharmacy--you have to hand deliver it to your pharmacist. They are all about the $$$$$.
First impression: While in waiting room and exam room, you are bombarded by pamplets and infomercials for laser hair removal, dermabrasion, cellulite removal, face lifts, you name it! I was confused. Am I in a doctor's office or a cosmetic surgeons office?
When I first met my nurse practitioner, she wasn't wearing a lab coat, but a pink t-shirt with "BOTOX" bedazzled on the front (you can't make this stuff up!!!).
However, despite that, I have been going there b/c it is conveniently located. I have been going there 2 years+. Also, I have been on the same medication for 6 years and they have yet to write a Rx for more than 3 months at a time. If your pharmacy contacts them for 1 refill, they won't do it. You have to make an appt and go in and pay your co-pay and then you're good for 3 months. I thought maybe it was me b/c of my specific medication, but they did it for my husband's high blood-pressure medicine--and he was completely out! He would've been w/o it for a week but CVS was nice enough to give us 3 pills at a time until we could get an appt.
Geez!!!
Pros: Close to home
Cons: More interested in your vericose veins than your bronchitis!

I had Plasma Portrait and loved it and why the heck wouldn't you buy the products (in my case Obagi NuDerm ) to maintain the results. If you are going to do something, do it right. They want you to see great results so they recommend what they think is best for you to see those results. Don't go there if you don't want their expert advice. Dcs is worth waiting for, I have wasted my time with several "hospital dermatologists" and they NEVER helped me the way Dr. Cole-Sedivy has. I for one am grateful that Dr. Cole-Sedivy contiues to see medical patients which none of the other aesthetic medicine doctors do anymore. Monarch Health is well-rounded and I would not consider going anywhere else. So what if she is a little late. She spends a few extra minutes with me when I need it and I can understand when someone else does. It is a doctor's office not a salon and Dr. Cole-Sedivy and her staff are awesome.

Both my young son and I go to Monarch for medical care, and I've also had several cosmetic procedures there. I have been amazed at the length of time the doctors and nurses are willing to spend with us. I never feel rushed, and I always feel like they sincerely care about me as a person. The aesthetic services are wonderful! They have a variety of treatments available, and I've always been very pleased with the results.
Pros: providers who care; quality services
Cons: can't think of any!

I was introduced to Monarch Health by my daughter. For years I said if I could find a non-invasive face lift that I would do it. Well, let me tell you. At Monarch Health you receive a personalized assessment from friendly, experienced and exceptional staff. Dr. Cole-Sedivy and her staff helped me select several different types of treatments that suited my needs. I am 61 and was not looking to try and be 21 again. I just wanted to look the best that I could for my age. Well, I do now. My eyes are brighter. My face has less dark spots, I have less lines at my eyes and overall my face is just lifted. People keep asking me "What is different about you?" but they can not tell what it is. I highly recommend you stop by for your personalized assessment. See what you think. You will be amazed at the changes that can take place. What do you have to lose? The procedures are done in a very short time and you can go back to work the next day. Most of them last for several years. It is amazing! I plan on having the procedures done as needed as long as possible. Good Luck with the first day of the rest of your life. You will love it.
Pros: Great Staff! Good service! Very professional!
Cons: None

This is a very high quality medical service facility. I've been to several places in the Columbus area and these people are so real and friendly and only suggest what services you may really need and let you make the decision. I have had Thermage on my eyes and some laser treatment for my rosacea, all of it successful. I also purchased some products, but I didn't replace because I've decided to go paraben free, and no one has ever questioned me or done more than ask me if I need more product. Dr. Cole-Sedivy is better than a dermatologist, she's a GP. Not only is she more than qualified to be doing what she's doing, she's incredibly personable and caring. She has an assistant, the aesthetician, and they appear to work as a team. It's a winning combination in my book. Geesh all that negativity over $25. Maybe you just can't afford the services?
Pros: Nice people, competent staff.
Cons: Waiting room is really small! Trying to get in and out of the parking lot can be a challenge depending upon the time of day.

They tried to push cheap quality products on me and tried to convince me to get procedures that I don?t need. I went in expecting a valuable consultation with a real dermatologist, but instead paid $25 to speak with a licensed aesthetician who seemed more concerned with making a sale than helping me with my skin. You can speak to a licensed aesthetician for free almost anywhere. Real dermatologists (ones that went to medical school and work at actual hospitals) do not try to sell you anything?they give you honest advice and tell you what will work and what won?t work for you. The expensive products I bought contained the exact same main ingredients that you can find in any acne-fighting cleanser at the drugstore and didn?t even work as well.
Monarch Health?s website also states that you will get a ?complimentary consultation? but it isn?t true?you have to put down a $25 deposit over the phone before you can make an appointment.
If you are considering going here, don?t. Or at least make sure that your $25 ?complimentary? consultation will be spent with one of the two doctors rather than a licensed aesthetician. If the doctor seems to be pushing products on you like the aesthetician did to me, be suspicious that something isn?t right and find a real dermatologist at an actual hospital. Even the receptionists were bad?rude and very poor social skills.
If your looking for ?quality? products . . . save your money and go to Wal-mart. Next time I will be more aware of snake-oil salespeople.
P.S. I may not be allowed to write this, but notice the first review posted here is by one of the doctors herself.
Pros: Short wait
Cons: rude receptionist, did not get to speak with a doctor like i scheduled, had unnecessary products excessively pushed on me

I have been to several cosmetics doctors in the area and Monarch and Dr. Cole-Sedivy and staff are just outstanding. I feel like I have found my own little oasis of beauty. I have had Restylane, Botox and laser rejuv and most recently had the Portrait done. My friends cannot believe I've not had surgery. Honest and Professional. Occasionally they run behind, but I think it is because Dr. Cole-Sedivy is such and artist and just doesn't rush.
Pros: wonderful and funny doctor
Cons: occasionally a wait
