Yankee Trader, just north of downtown on HIgh Street, is your party favor headquarters. The selection is absolutely amazing. Half of the store is costumes, the other half has bin after bin full of googly-eyes or fake spiders or anything else you can think of. The prices are reasonable (of course how nmuch does a small peice of plastic cost, right?). This is great for moms hosting birthday parties or teachers, too. Although, they dont accept returns, its still a fantastic place for party favors and more.

Wide Open West is a cable provider that is cheap in the Columbus area. Their cable has on demand services with pre-recorded programming, and the internet is high speed.
Having used Roadrunner and Insite, as well as WOW... in my experience, WOW is the one to go with for pure speed. Their prices for the bundling are 10-20$ cheaper than the competitors and their customer service is also very good. With all the competition in the area for providing these services, you luck out with them

I took my two dogs to Wendy's to be groomed for the first and last time recently. I have to say, in 20 years of owning dogs and having them groomed, this was the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I have ever had. For starters, the place reeks of a horrible, unclean odor as soon as you walk in. Parking is scarce. When I went to pick up my dogs, I noticed the lobby area had turned into a playroom/dining room for one of the employees' children. I certainly understand that children need to accompany their parents to work on occassion, but the table, couch, and floor were so unkempt that we felt as if WE were interrupting. She certainly could have apologized for the mess since she must not have had the time to straighten it up (or just didn't care). As I waited for Wendy to go get my dogs from the back, one of the dogs in the grooming room wandered out into the lobby area. The other groomer came to get the dog by yanking the dog by the ear and pulling him/her back into the grooming area by his/her ear. I was appalled and hoped my own dogs were not treated that way during their visit. When we saw the dogs and their "grooming", we were quite shocked to see our Bichon looked like a poodle and our mutt had the choppiest cut I had ever seen on her. Also, Wendy charged the same for both dogs, $45.00 each, which seemed expensive. Our old groomer only charged $30.00 and $35.00 for the dogs, and we don't mind paying more, as long as the dogs are well groomed. We asked if she had hand scissored our Bichon, and she replied "No, you can cut them with just clippers." As we reluctantly tried to pay the bill, we pulled out our debit card and were told that she doesn't take plastic...of course Wendy's doesn't take plastic...that would be too professional.

This is a wonderful counseling service. It is around $95 a session unless you have insurance. Also, they have a sliding fee, depending on your income per yr. This is a Christian based counseling, that helps spiritually and emotionally. You will probably have sessions together and seperately. I recommend this to anyone who has a problem communicating or just wasn't able to get counseling before marriage. It is really a good learning experience for you and your spouse. It is also a good way to talk about things that you both get heated about.

Our first visit to Tri-Village was part of a promotion they ran. They let you bring your child in to have them photographed in their halloween costume and they would give you a free picture (with the option to purchase more). The picture was absolutely adorable and we couldn't have been happier.
They also photographed the wedding of some friends of ours and the pictures turned out great. We haven't gone in yet for a family portrait or anything but when we're ready for it we know where we are going.

I chose the Renaissance for my wedding reception because I wanted to have the reception at a downtown hotel. The hotel has recently undergone a complete renovation and it is beautiful and modern. The staff are very friendly, the food was delicious and the wedding coordinator, Ann, really took the time to help me plan everything. The place is NOT cheap (slightly less than the Westin, I would say) but if you want to be in a desirable downtown location, you have to be willing to pay for it.

I was shopping at Target one day, not looking for anything in particular, when I spotted a pair of earrings. They were really pretty light blue rectangular cut topaz in a delicate 10k gold setting. There was also a tiny diamond chip set just above the topaz. The earrings called out to me as they twinkled in the fluorescent lighting. Can you believe they were in the clearance section?! It was too good to be true...they were only $10!
I ended up wearing them just about everyday for a month until the fateful day. I was sitting at my husband's grandmother's house on mother's day when I noticed something fall into my lap. I reached up to my ear and realized the topaz had fallen out. As I frantically tried to place it back in the setting, the diamond also fell out. The setting was much too flimsy and started to break. Well it was a good 30 day run we had but I guess sometimes you get what you pay for.

I love their unique style for all of their stuff! Their house stuff is very contemperary. The store is always well kept, staff have been helpful, but as always you can get someone who is off the wall. Overall I love this store and will recommend it to anyone!
