The Drexel is the best place in Columbus to catch an independent movie. Without them, Columbus residents would likely miss many great independent films. The theater gives you that retro film noir feel when you walk in. Though it is lacking in stadium seating, I have yet to have a bad seat. Perhaps the best part of the whole experience is the audience that patronizes the Drexel. Unlike moveigoers at AMC, who are rude and talk constantly during movies, the moviegoers at the Drexel always respect the unspoken rules of movie watching - don't talk during the movie, turn off your cell phone, and don't disturb your neighbor. It's one of the main reasons I go to the Drexel (and one of main reasons I avoid chains like AMC).
