We had them sealcoat our driveway a few years ago because the price seemed so cheap compared to the work of doing it ourselves. It took them a few weeks to come out.. I guess they were busy, but they finished quickly and it looked very professional when they were done. We will probably use them again when we have the need.

These people never actually seem to be in the office. Also, they kept calling our home number during work hours even though my husband gave them his work number. Then when we'd get home, and have a message they were never at their office. They took a long time to actually schedule the work job and gave us a 3 week completion date range. 3 weeks??? even the cable company gives you a particular day! So the day they said they would come out and do the work, I had that day off and was home all day (a Friday). They never showed up and didn't call. Then my husband called the following Monday and they never had any explanation as to why they didn't show up Friday. They then came the next day and did the work.

We originally hired this company to do the landscaping for our new build after they came out and gave us an estimate. We were waiting and waiting and after several phone calls we finally heard from them when they called to let us know that they wouldn't be able to do our yard for a couple more months and they would be happy to refund our deposit. Originally they said it would only be a couple of weeks. I took that to mean that they were hired for more important projects where they would make more money and couldn't be bothered by our little job.

I have to rave for Mr. Sandler: I went in looking for an inexpensive sewing machine. I like to sew, but it's something I do about once in a blue moon. I was headed straight for the "Singer" but once I told him I was a seldom-sewing true novice, he explained to me that another machine was better: and it was a less-expensive model! He suggested a re-built Kenmore rather than a Singer due to the Kenmore being made with all metal parts instead of Singer's plastic. He opened it up and showed me what was obviously a beautifully maintained machine. Every bit shining and oiled and in perfect working order. The price: just $75. That machine has served me very well for over 4 years now, and I think appreciatively of Mr. Sander every time I use it.
For those who are real sewing junkies or are in need of a professional-grand machine, I don't know if his store is best or not. But if you are a typical mom or crafty type who just wants something basic, I would wholeheartedly recommend that you seek out Alex Sandler for advice. He could have taken me, but instead he helped me out! Thanks, Mr. Sandler!
