We like to eat here for lunch. A warning for vegetarians, though, they cook their meatballs in their marinara sauce. I suggest ordering the "pizza" which is pizza sauce and cheese piled on their hugely thick bread.

Village Food has the only halal fried chicken in Columbus OH that I know of and its good. Very tasty. They also serve fried fish, gyros and Pakistani food. Their chicken reminds me of chicken that I used to get back at home.

The staff is always pleasant and accomodating of requests. They give promt service. The music is great and they have a little dance floor in case you feel the urge.

This is a smaller steak house owned and operated by one man. There is a salad bar which is always fresh. The menu features steaks, chicken, fish and some Italian dishes such as spaghetti and pizza. The staff is very friendly and eager to make your meal just as you want it. They also offer fresh steamed brocoli, soups, warm dinner rolls and a variety of deserts. The prices are very reasonable which makes it a great family restaurant.

Yau's was formerly Wong Gei on campus. They moved into a nicer, cleaner space just south of campus. It's very low-key and the food is always great and very inexpensive. I recommend asking what Chinese greens (such as kang kung or choi sum) are available and also inquire about the specials on the dry-erase board. They are always friendly and willing to help with good recommendations.
Pros: Food, value, service
Cons: Not the best location
