I've been a regular at El Vaquero (namely Riverside Drive location) for over 10 years. You will not find a more casual, fun, well priced place with better food or service in Columbus. That's why is packed 7 dats a week, every week. Sit at the bar and David will get your pitcher of Margarita out quick

I was a little skeptical to try Nancy's, not because I thought the food wasn't good, but because it's always so busy. A bit of advice: try it in the summer when OSU is on break. Trust me, the food will be just as good and you won't have to wait or be hurried out. Monday and Thursday the special is chicken and noodles and the portions are more than you can eat.
Pros: Great service, Great food, Cheap
Cons: You might have to wait for a seat

I have been in Tommy's many times.
To address some other reviews, the food quality has not fallen of, the noise is part of the attraction and if you feel that the diner has lost something, I'm sorry!
Perhaps your appreciation of Tommy's is not what it should be!!

My wife and I have been going for years. Pizzas are out of this world good and the ingredients are consistent and always delicious no matter what you get. Try and make your own!
All of their pastas are great too, Chicken Diablo is my fave which has a nice kick to it. A must try.
Small but cute - great wait staff as well. Value is amazing.
Pros: Wood -fired pizzas, great pasta, wines, staff, cozy and cute atmosphere, value.

Only visited here once a little while back and was very happy that I did. The chicken salad was huge and very delicious. The few steak fries that I was able to snatch off my girlfriend's plate were awesome as well! It's not a huge place so I could see it being a little uncomfortably crowded on a friday or saturday night, but that shouldn't be reason enough to stop you from going!

I love Chipotle Burritos more than any other food that can be served fast food style! If I were stranded on a dessert island this would be my one food item of choice. If you have not experience the mindblowing flavor explosion of delight from a 6 lbs. burrito full of cilantro and lime rice, guacamole and sour cream, fresh salsa, cheese, and marinated steak; my friend you have not lived. The food is worth the stress of learning how to order the perfect burrito, but do not be intimidated, assert yourself and prepare for splendor. There's no wrong way to eat a Chipotle burrito, but I have found slicing it all up into a mixed up mess on a huge dinner plate gets you a combination of all the flavors that cannot be experienced in the foil and plastic basket provided at the restaurant in the somewhat noisy ambience.

If you are craving Chinese with a kick go to Happy Dragon and order the Hunan Chicken. After trying several different Chinese take-out restaurants around town I can say with confidence that they have the best in Columbus! Beware though as it may be too spicy for some people. The egg rolls are great as is the sticky white rice. I have only tried one other dish (General Tso chicken with fried rice) and did not care for it as it is made with dark meat. The fried rice is okay but is not outstanding.
Pros: Great value for the price
Cons: Dining in not recommended (it is often crowded and noisy)
