How can you not love this place?!? It's category might be decieving...but curio a go go sells all kinds of things: bath products, home decor, decorative accents, antiques, furniture, cards, and much much more. The owners are SO nice and friendly, and every time I am in I see them working. Curio a go go just recently moved to a new location in the spot where Circa was located, but can still be found in the main drag of the Short North. If you are looking for a great gift, stop by and check it out!

I love poking around this store. There is always something new, as their stock rotates well. They have an eye for detail, and everything is fun to look at even if not to my taste. I can't tell how well they are priced, as I don't buy many antiques. But it is such an adventure to discover neat little doodads, and to drool over the gorgeous furniture pieces they pick up.
NOT a kid friendly place, way too many breakables. The parking is a pain, too.

Three Sisters Treasures has some great vintage finds. You'll find it on the East side of High, near Rag-O-Rama. There was a collection of fabulous hats for decent prices- 10$ for a great sky blue pillbox hat! They also have couches, some coffee tables, a whole bunch of glass pitchers with matching cups right out of That 70's Show, 2 racks of fun aprons, vintage cookbooks, darling dining room chairs... the list goes on. The sales people are very easy to talk to, but they won't follow you around. You can shop at your leisure here, and it's good to take the time, as there are so many things tucked throughout the shop.

I love this shop! It's the cutest, cleanest store selling antiques and new items that you'll ever come across! Everything is set up like your in someone's house who can decorate--but you can imagine it in YOUR home. Always a cool variety of items from furniture made from old barn siding, to little baby onesies, that say things like "I love my two dad's" OR "I'm not a boy!" Also, adorable chairs, mirrors, and a fun selection of sassy t-shirts and earrings.

When you move into a relatively small town, you find yourself walking into places you might normally pass by. One Saturday morning, my daughter and I were out getting some donuts, when I decided we should stop into Royal Crafts and Collectibles. They have a lot of neat woodwork items out front- benches, chairs, etc. All hand painted, with neat designs cut out. Their business spills out the front door, to pull you in.
This is one of those types of stores where people have (I assume) rented space to sell their wares. Each little section is personally designed with various themes- Buckey gear, vintage kitchenware, hand-sewn dolls & animals, and so on. The furniture that most of the items are sitting on, are also for sale. Some of the furniture looks very dated (but typically well preserved), and then some are from the 50's and 70's.
If you're in the market for some cute vintage collectibles, it's a neat place to check out. You probably want to have some money on hand, though. A lot of the stuff is pricey- perhaps to make up for the rent the store owner charges for each station? I have no idea. Some items are decently priced, though. In any case, if you have time to kill and love looking at unique items, this is a great place.

This fun little furniture gallery carries a really eclectic collection of furniture. Last fall I was looking for a new dresser and stopped into Grand View Mercantile to have a look around. Although really, really, really out of my price range, they did have some gorgeous pieces that maybe I can one day afford. A lot of the furniture appeared to be imported from over seas. I also got the impression that perhaps many of the pieces came from Asian or South Asian areas -very beutiful none the less. So if you like that style and can afford it, this shop might be for you.
