WOW that was my reaction the first time I went to Grinder's. The menu seems to be huge, so many options and so much meat on the grinders themselves. The open toasted sub style snadwiches delivered to your table, the kettle cooked chips, the pasta, desserts and so much more to enjoy about this restaurant. I can't stay away. They offer catering as well. I'd be so happy if my boss would choose that just once.

Take an hour or two and explore the racks at Goodwill, you might be suprised at what you find. I found two great pairs of jeans in amazing condition, and a really cute shirt also in excellent condition and I only paid $13 for all of it. It may take a while to dig through the racks to find what you're looking for but the prices make it well worth the time. Check out the shoes, books, and toys for the kids while you're at it. It's like going to a huge indoor garage sale.

When I had pre-term labor with my daughter, I was put into pre-natal intensive care for a week at this hospital. Having recently experienced surgery in a foreign country, it made me think about and appreciate the care I received here all the more. I remember how badly I wished I could wash my hair, but I couldn't move around a lot because I was on very strict bed rest and medication. However, a wonderful nurse came in and asked if she could wash my hair for me. It was such a little thing, but it was like that my whole stay. The doctor was wonderful and had a caring manner, as well as the nurses. Several of my family members, church members and friends have also been in this hospital and all received excellent care. I think we should give credit where credit is due, and I am very thankful that I was cared for so well in this hospital.

Walking through the door is like taking a trip back in time. The food is excellent, I loved the fried shrimp. The girls in their poodle skirts just add to the atmostphere. The chocolate malt is simply heavenly. Whether in a large group or just as a couple this is a great place for dinner. Be prepared to stand in line as it's always hopping.

WOW...and double wow. The best presentation, fantastic surrounds, watch the Chef's cook, immaculate and perfect service, smiling friendly and attentive staff. Oh did I mention the food? Wow. Anyone who has shelled out over $50 for dinner for 2 and regretted it - well try Houlihan's . You may not spend that much but i guarantee you will not regret it. So happy and relieved that Columbia now has a restaurant for that special occasion or romantic dinner or just a splurge. Oh did I mention the food? Wow.

Dryer's Shoes is one of the oldest businesses still in business in Columbia today. When you walk in, it makes you fell ike a shoe store you visited when you were a child! The have chairs for you to sit in and try things on but the staff measure your feet and actaully bring the shoes out for the back! they assist you in every way possible! Dryer's Shoes also has one of the largest selection of quality shoes in town, Doc Martins, Clarks, etc. It's hard to find customer service like this at the mall! The staff are very knowledgable in the shoe business and do their best to make you happy!
PROS: Huge selction and quality staff
