My favorite place to eat when I'm in Columbia. I live over an hour away, and have been known to drive there just to eat at Murry's. Their Chicken Philly is wonderful, especially with a side of Pablano Mayo! Great beer selection.

I cannot stand a la carte places. Nothing comes with any sides. Food is strange but OK. They definitely have their own twist to it. I have went there and went away hungry, because server didn't warn me about a la carte. Biggest kicker yet: I went their with a group of 10 ladies, and they refused us separate checks. Crazy, huh? They gave us a handwritten waitresses order for the kitchen with a total on it. We asked for a menu to figure out how much we each owed. They never brought it. It took us 30 minutes plus to figure out how much we owed. Won't be back.

Murry's has great food at reasonable prices and a great atmosphere. If you like Jazz be sure to stop by on a weekend late evening and enjoy dessert and coffee while you listen to some great performances. Their green pepper rings are amazing, something I've tried to duplicate at home but I just can't get it right. A wonderful place for lunch, dinner or just dessert.
