This restaurant is clean, efficient, reasonably priced, and an over-all wonderful dining experience. The establishment is a fixture and must-see of downtown Columbia. It features a bar and 2-level dining space for beautiful dining and delicious food. Prices are competitive and food is always fresh! I personally recommend the Siam Village Rolls (available with pork or vegetarian style) and their delicious, hand-made dipping sauce. Their pad thai is also wonderful and a restaurant favorite!

The only review for China Kitchen right now is over four years old and is not accurate now -- in 2008 -- nor was it accurate in 2004 in my family's opinion. The menu is a wide variety of Chinese dishes and you are guaranteed the opportunity of finding several that are your favorites!!! My family loves the Orange Chicken and the Sweet and Sour Chicken (we usually order chicken dishes -- beef once in a while). And the Crab Rangoon is the best we have EVER experienced. Language is sometimes a small problem, but would you pay the price for good, authentic Chinese food for that small problem -- we certainly would. Try this food a few times and you will go back again and again as my family does ! ! !

This place got RAVE reviews from users on Yahoo, so I thought I'd try it while I was visiting. Being from St. Louis, we have a Chinese restaurant on every corner, practically. Based on the reviews, I thought this place would be well above and beyond any little corner place. Other reviewers called it the best in Columbia, etc. It was definitely NOT the best, according to my standards - it was just like every other Chinese restaurant on every other corner!!! Definitely NOT worth the hassle of fighting for a parking space in downtown Columbia!
Pros: Prices were average

Great Wall is a buffet located near Columbia's mall. It looks like an average buffet, but it delivers more than promised. The food is very good; I consider it to be some of the best I have ever had. The price is very reasonable, at about 6 or 7 dollars for all you can eat. The service is better than some non-buffet restaurants, my drink was never empty, and my finished plates were quick to be taken away. All around, it is a good, enjoyable place to eat lunch or dinner.

This restaurant is much better than the overall rating would suggest. We lived in Columbia for 3 years, and Osaka is at the top of our list of restaurants we crave in a town full of great independently-owned eateries. The service is always excellent, sushi and sashimi very fresh and well presented. The freshness is especially surprising given that this is in the middle of Missouri, but they fly in fresh fish 4-5 times per week. Highly recommended restaurant.

Very classy establishment - cozy little place tucked away off Nifong. Since my boyfriend and I ate there, we've never gone back to a Chinese buffet. Nothing you can get at a buffet compares to the excellent food and service you get at Qs.

Staff is nice and the food is delicious! I recommend the pad Thai, with tender veggies and crispy peanuts atop Thai noodles!It has a nice, homey atmosphere and a big screen to watch the big game. Plus a bar and they have now added breakfast!Their location is inside a hotel; therefore, you may decide you like the food so much you want to stay the night to have it again the next day!
