We recently moved here and are looking for a good Mexican restaurant. After trying a couple that were recommended, we accidentally found Senor Manuel's. We got take out, and it was GREAT! The food tasted very authentic and was VERY fresh tasting. Next time, we're going to eat at the restaurant. It's very roomy and clean and there's a bar area and an outside patio area. I eyed someone drinking a HUGE margarita and can't wait to try it! The portions were very generous and the food was reasonable priced. Try it and you will not regret it.

Ever since I've stumbled along this place I must say that this isn't no "On the Border"... this is authentic but great food. Everytime I go in I always want to try something different because everything sounds great. Too bad there wasn't a buffet. The only downside is that there may be a wait for seating and this isn't a place to be for small conversation if it's busy. Other than that it's a great family place to eat authentic Mexican.

I love this restaurant. They have fresh tortillas in both corn and flour. The prices are reasonable and you get a lot of food the money. One of my favorite reasons for going here is they have Tecate on tap - which you cannot find in very many places. The downfall I find with this place is that they are closed on Sundays. They are conveniently located and always have ample parking. The staff is friendly and fun and you don't feel uncomfortable going there in shorts and sandles! It is kid friendly as well.

Hello, This restaurant does not have a lot of atmosphere, but the food is great. They cook the chips there. The chicken enchilada is my favorite. The price is not bad. A full course Chicken Echaladia dinner is about 7.95. The service is slow at times. I have eaten here many times.

I am a true Mexican food fan, and of all the Mexican restaurants in Colorado Springs, Senor Manuel's is by far the best. The Chimichanga is made with shredded beef and is one of my favorite items from the menu, and the Mondongo is to die for - a kind of chili beef stew that is served alone or atop a burrito....try it atop a cheese or beef burrito. The chips and salsa are so delicious that they sell them in large take-home quantities...we always take home a double order. The chips are made by the restaurant and are like none you have ever tasted before. The margaritas are also the best in town. You can order a Mega-magarita and buy the glass, then have it refilled for a great price every time you come back - definately a wise investment. On some weekend evenings, a strolling musician plays the guitar and sings to everyone's delight, but the children love her the most. The restaurant has an outdoor patio for dining, as well as several interior dining rooms. The restaurant is family-owned, has received several awards, and has a large following from long-time residents.
