This is a recreated, indoor ghost town that you kids will love and you might even enjoy yourself. At the very least, it's a great rainy day option when the kids are climbing the walls. There are recreated shops including a general store, jail, blacksmith, post office and saloon. Many of the exhibits are hands-on and touching is encouraged. Yes, it's commercialism at its best (or worst) but let;s face it--the kids love that kind of thing, that's what makes it so popular. And if they can gain some historical insights while you are popping a quarter here and there for this or that, then so much the better!
