this little place is where my dad goes. All the times I had to take my dad's dog I must say that they have been very patient. The prices are ok and they do offer the basics for your pet. You usually can get an appointment with in a week. Not too bad for the local Widefield/Security area vet.

I was having trouble with my wisdom teeth and went to the Cheyenne Mountain Dental Group. They were very friendly and they helped me figure out what to do about my teeth. They recomended a great dental surgeon and my teeth were done and better in 2 weeks. I haven't had any dental work dont there, but it is a comfortable place with great dentists and I will be going back there.

This is a review specifically for the office staff at AMOS. I underwent a major surgery there, and they were only somewhat helpful in guiding us in preparing for it. Since they do these procedures ALL the time, they should tell people common issues with getting stuff arranged, especially finances (loans through programs they recommend). Their favorite thing to say is "it's easy, you can apply quickly the week before." Then when you ask them why they didn't tell you that the financing company actually requires this or that thing they say "well, finances are the client's responsibility, you should have applied further in advance to allow time for problems." Gee, thanks. Now we are ALL inconvenienced in having to reschedule so we can get the necessary paperwork done, because you didn't tell us how this really works.
Moral: ASK QUESTIONS! Don't assume anything...
Epilogue: The surgery finally got done and went well. They definitely know what they're doing, even if they don't fill you in on it.

More
The worst experience I have ever had at any doctors office. After leaving the office in early 2006 confident that insurance concerns would be taken care of- including a document saying I owe nothing and insurance covered, I received a call/letters starting in 2007 that I had an outstanding balance and this was never taken care of. Advice from the office was to call my insurance company and threaten them that I had an lawyer. Then I received a letter saying they would be submitting this to a collection agency if I did not pay for the $600 pair of glass I got over a year ago, but they would be nice enough to arrange a payment plan. Be aware, only if you're interested in a doctor who calls you multiple times over the next 16+ monthes after you are told insurance was taken care of, this is the place to go.
Pros: You tell me what is good...?
Cons: Hounded by staffing years after receiving glasses for payments I was told were taken care of.

I had my second baby at Memorial North (my first was at Penrose on Academy). I thought, new hospital, we'll give it a try.
It was a horrible experience. I did have an awesome OB/GYN (Dr. J. Baer) though.
I had a c-section and I while my baby was in my room, I could not get up and change him or pick him up by myself. The nurse would NOT come in to help at all.
They often forgot my pain medication, I waited for two hours crying, I called them and they refused to come in. Once they finally showed up, I got an "oh, sorry, I forgot."
It was also extremely noisy. The mother in the next room to me, had relatives over and were partying very loud at 10-11 pm and NO ONE said anything to them. All I wanted to do was sleep, I was exhausted, and when we asked the nurses to speak to them, we were ignored. My husband had to knock on their door to ask them to be quiet.
After my son was born, once I got his birth certificate, I noticed the time of birth was incorrect (he was born in the a.m. the certificate showed p.m.). When I brought this to the hospital's attention I was told that it was my fault, because I did not verify the information they entered into the computer. It was their job to properly fill out the information in the first place.
I will NEVER EVER go back to Memorial. I am closest to Memorial North, but I am willing to drive farther to get to Penrose than deal with Memorial North.
Pros: Disrespectful, unwilling to help, incompetent, rude staff.
Cons: New building. New equipment.
