Except for being slow to provide adequate pain relief for my compound fracture, I found the services adequate.
On about 20 October 2006, I was admitted with a compound fracture of my lower right leg, resulting from a motorcycle mishap. The surgeon, Dr. Walden, apparently did a good repair job. He put a titanium rod and 5 screws into the leg. He was very good about answering my questions.
They were able to provide adequate vegetarian meals for me. The visiting hours were generous.
The day after the surgery, I was able to get around the hospital with crutches. Although that was a bit faster than usual, the staff saw it as a good sign and encouraged me to be as active as reasonable considering the condition of my leg. However, I was slightly annoyed (and amused) when I was accused of "flashing" even though I wore underpants under the hospital gown. The problem was solved when I later got my own clothing, which had been at a hotel. If hospitals are concerned about patients' "flashing," they should provide something more suitable than a hospital gown.
I was even permitted to shower by myself, after being provided with assistance to get started, and was assured that if I had problems, immediate assistance would be provided. It was good to be encouraged to be as independent as possible.
The discharge nurse was angry that I stayed 4 days instead of 3. However, since I was from out of town and not in condition to travel, I had no place to go. She discharged me to Springs Village Care Center, a nursing home (on which I have written a review).
Pros: Good staff and service
Cons: A bit slow to provide pain relief upon being admitted

My daughter has a herniated disc, plus, fibromyalgia, so I do everything I possiblly can to help her with all the pain that she is in all the time. I took her here and she has done quite well with adjustments etc. The office staff and everyone working there is very friendly and very helpful. They have even worked my daughter in once without an appointment.

We have been with the doctors of Pediatric Specialists for 18 years and will be sad when our youngest child no longer requires a pediatrician. Friendly staff, from the front office to billing to the nurses and doctors. They remember our children by sight and are more than willing to take the extra time to talk to us. The waiting room is divided in to two sections, one for well child, one for sick child. The rooms are individually decorated, in themes for all ages of children.

After taking my child to a 'chain' dentist for emergency work, Dr. George was willing to see us after hours to fix the work done by the chain dentist. We have been patients since and think he is the best. The office staff is always very nice, and the waiting room is clean and comfortable.

My daughter was referred to Daniel Drake, a "soft tissue" .. meaning "muscle" physical therapist for her Fibromyalgia and a herniated disc. I have to tell you, he is THE BEST. When she went to see him, she could not stand up straight, she could hardly walk into his office - which is in his home - she was in horrible pain. After about a 2 1/2 hour session with him - she was nearly pain free, she could stand up straight and for the first time in months, you could see the pain leaving just by looking at her eyes. She had a second session yesterday and she feels great. He uses infra red therapy and electro stimulation. The same day, a friend of my daughters had her son go to him. He is only 19 and when he was 10 years old, while playing foot ball, he ran head on into another play. From that day forward his back was crooked. He had been going to chiropractors, medical doctors, other physical therapists .. and he just learned to live walking all bent over like an old man. His opposite side was in a lot of pain just recently so my daughter referred him to Daniel .. after his session with Daniel, he got up off the table and was STANDING STRAIGHT .. and out of pain. If you live in the area or want to come to the area, I would say it is worth it.

Their staff is friendly and helpful and always has a smile. They do their best to go above and beyond the regular call of duty to get you the best care possible. Even though the wait can be long at times, they are really worth it. Another nice feature is there is a surgery center downstairs when needed! They are conveniently located in the Audoban Medical Center at Union and Fillmore.
