This place has awesome ready made food & it just an all around fantastic grocery store!! It's ALWAYS busy, but certainly worth the visit! The check-out lines move fast too! They do carry items that other stores don't, so if there is something special you are searching for, try this place, chances are they will have it.

Everyweek we get a delivery.
When you get out of bed at 6am there is your food iced and waiting on your porch in their little cooler they provide.
We buy, eggs, whole milk, 2% chocolate milk, butter,sour cream, cream cheese, string cheese, Sarah lee bagels, cookie dough batter.
ALL are totally fresh!!
I grew up on a Dairy when I was young and I have never liked drinking store milk.
THIS milk tastes like the milk I had as a child. Wonderful!!

The store gets it supply of fresh vegetables, poultry and meat every wednesday. You will find varieties of asian vegetables, fresh fish, mutton, pork and beef. They will clean and chop your fish and meat to pieces. The prices are reasonable and the owner is pleasant. It is crowded on that day but I go there every week and it is worth the effort. If u are interested in the spices and noodles and non perishables do plan any other day of the week.

Actually, I really do like about 3 grocery stores but Safeway is my favorite. I prefer their meats as they seem to have a better taste to them. I also like the friendly staff at the ones that I have gone to here in Colorado. Another thing that I like is that they do have a membership card that you get 3 to 10 cents off on gasoline after purchasing a certain amount of groceries and it has really been a godsend when the cost of gasoline has been so expensive. Their produce always is so nice and fresh. They have a great deli too. And, for an added convenience, they do have a pharmacy as well.

My husband and I were out this morning and while we were out, we noticed that gasoline was going back UP. As we were in the vicinity of a Safeway that has had a 10 cents a gallon off for several weeks now, I figured we'd check them out. On our way there, the least expensive we saw was 2.09 and 2.11. When we got to Safeway, it was 2.12 .. and I did get the 10 cents off, making it $2.02. Another friend told us that she bought her Honey Suckle turkey the night before at Safeway .. she got a 22 lb. turkey for $7.99. So, we went there and I got a 19.53 lb. one for $7.99. On the tag is said $1.18 a lb .. $22.+ .. so I saved a bundle on that "bird." Not sure if all Safeway's are doing this, but my sister in Denver said they were $5.99 at her Safeway. And she also noticed a sign that after November 26th, Safeway will no longer be allowed to sell their gasoline for less than the 3 cents per gallon off by using their card. Bummers. So, if any of you in Colorado have a Safeway Card .. be sure to use up your gasoline points by the 26th.

They always have what my mom's looking for. And I can always find the things I need as well. For a small store they do have alot and the Girls are always nice. You don't need to speak korean to enter. The prices are reasonable. The selection is pretty good for a small market.

There's a lot to look through and there's even some great little snacks to get for later made fresh by the staff everyday. They even have video and music. Plus they also have product like plates and pots too. The selection is ok but is good enough if you don't want to fly all over to town to the very few oriental markets we have in town.

This Indian Store has the ingredients to make you feel closer to home. It stores all sort of spices, confectionery (Britannia Brand), Tea (Lipton, Tata), Pulses, Rice and Atta (Crushed Wheat grains).
My personal favorites are pre cooked packaged curry (Panneer, Gobi) and heat to eat Roti, Naan and Parathas. It does have a decent collection of Hindi Movies. They do change the staff quite frequently but I’m surprised that month after month, season after season that the owner lends such helpful personal touch with a friendly smile.

This store is located right beside SAMS club on South Academy Blvd. They have a admirable collection of scotch and vodka.The wine section is staked with bottles from under 20 dollars to over 100 dollars. You will surely find a bottle for your range.The owner is quite knowledgeable and forth coming she has helped me chose many a bottle which have turned out to be great.
They store the quintessential beer too. Above all the prices here are the least in the town of Colorado Springs.You do not need a SAMS Club membership to enter here, in fact they often give out a days pass to SAMS club.
