Hunan Springs is one of the best Chinese restaurants I have been to in the Springs. The food is authentic, fresh, and satisfies even the pickiest of eaters. Not only is the food great, the atmosphere friendly, but the drinks are hard to beat. I absolutely enjoyed the great dining experience. I will definitely be a repeat customer without a doubt.

We went for an early dinner, so the restaurant wasn't crowded. We got excellent, friendly service, and were delighted that the music over the speakers was loud enough to enjoy, but low enough to carry on a conversation in normal tones instead of the shouts requied in some places.
The menu had a great variety, and although we had our favorites, we look forward to going back and trying the other dishes. I've had better food (at much higher prices) but the overall experience was the best I' ve known in recent years.

This place has terrific Mexican food. I especially liked their salsa. The only problem I had was that because it IS so popular, there is usually a wait and it can get pretty loud at times. The waitstaff was very attentive and were helpful in allowing us to make a good decision for our dinner.

China Village is our favorite chinese restaurant. The restaurant itself is wonderfully decorated, and some of the statuary and bamboo plants can be purchased.
The food is outstanding, both in flavor and portion size. The menu is extensive, and they are happy to do a speical order.
The decor is beautiful, and you instantly feel relaxed and welcome to spend a long time there when you arrive.
The restaurant also offers takeout, and has a full bar which offers both ordinary and exotic cocktails.

Been here more than a few times and the food is always good and service prompt and polite. The sushi is always fresh and the cooked foods always hot and tasty. I liek that they have sake and plum wine and a very good Genmai cha. Very authentic.. makes me feel like i never left Cali.

My husband and I were excited to try this restaurant after hearing about it from a friend. We both worked in the fine dining industry for over ten years, so we were interested to see how it would measure up. We are definitely going back- the menu was well written, the pricing is well placed for the market, and the wine list has good variety. The one thing that is cautionary is that the present menu is heavily imbalanced on seafood. A lot of the items have some kind of seafood with them. The service was very good, relaxed, yet we never wanted for anything. We have already sent friends of ours to this restaurant, and are looking forward to going back soon!

I used to go to Albertacos, but after finding Alfonso's close to my work, I wouldn't go back! Alfonso's is leaps and bounds better. Thier carne asada is really tender and good. For about $3.50 you get a HUGE burrito that is fresh and always awesome. I also agree with the other review that the red and green salsa is especially good. I am going there right now in fact. Keep up the good work Alfonso's - Great food - good prices - friendly service. A++++

The Omelette Parlor has really great food, and offers a breakfast as well as a lunch menu. It's hard to choose between their specialty omelettes and specialty sandwiches, so we just order one of each and then share. Alcohol is served here, and the Bloody Mary's are excellent.
The restaurant is a converted home of a movie star from the early 1900's, and is very whimsical.
They close mid-afternoon, then the back half of the restaurant opens for the rest of the day - it is a bar that serves great burgers and sandwiches.
The Omeletter Parlor has pretty reasonable prices and the food is prepared fresh and made with the best ingredients.
Don't forget to grab a lollipop from the basket on your way out the door........
