Old smelly. Pushy staff who didn't listen to anything. 3000 dresses??? Where not even 300. They only put good reviews on their website but you can find plenty of negative elsewhere. Sure wish I would have read them before we wasted our time there.. When we first pulled in I thought it was an abandoned building. We weren't even greeted when we walked in. Also it would take 4-6 months to get a dress. This place is horrible! more

Catherine was a very nice lady to work with. She is excellent at her job. She was very helpful at picking out beautiful dresses for me. I would recommend Bridaltown to all my friends. Else was a very nice lady, too. She did a good job as well. more

DO NOT GO THERE 9/25/2010

I decided on my wedding gown my 1st visit to the store with my mother. During my visit my consultant Linda contacted the manufacturer to ensure that my wedding gown would arrive in time for my wedding since the dress had to be cut because of my height. After assuring me that the dress would arrive in ample time for my October wedding I then placed a deposit on the gown so that it could be ordered. I returned to the store the following week with my grandmothers, they too loved the gown and additional money was paid for the gown. Linda again assured us that the gown would arrive in time for my October wedding date. As the date approached for me to pick up my gown, I contacted Linda to ensure that the gown was scheduled to arrive as promised and this is where the games began. From that point forward I was never given a concrete pick up date and was passed from person to person every time I called. I was informed by Linda (via her home phone) that my dress would not be arriving until the middle of November!!! After informing her that this was unacceptable and that I wanted a full refund she told me that was not possible. I went to the store the following day and was greeted by the owners who told me that they were not giving me a refund because I provided them with the wrong wedding date. ALL of my paperwork from Bridal town has the CORRECT date. I will be filing a suit against Bridal town and will also be contacting the news media. The people must be warned so that this does not continue to happen to Brides! more

LOVED MY DRESS!!!!! 8/23/2010

I had NO PROBLEMS at all with Bridaltown. My dress was gorgeous, arrived in less time than they told me it would. Everyone was really nice and helpful. The owner guy though, was a little pushy and weird. But he wasn't with us long, and the woman were so helpful. I got my alterations done there too, and Elsie was great. When I came back to try it on, she remembered who I was. Elsie was just fantastic. She was on her knees for an hour pinning up the dress to where it needed to be altered, and showed my mom about 3 times how to tie the back of my corset tie dress. Overall, I had a great experience with Bridaltown. I know not everyone else did, but I loved my dress from there. more

Its ok 6/28/2010

I went there this weekend just to stop in and see the place and what they had to offer. No intentions of buying. My consultant Catherine was so nice. She picked out some pretty dresses. I did buy one, cause it was a great deal 30% off. So instead of paying over 900 for it i paid 630. Which is a great deal.The building its self was different, older and very confusing. Elsie the seamstress was old and I dont know if I trusted her measurements. She put me in a size 8 and Im not that big of a girl. I didnt feel pressured into buying anything my fiance actually was the one to convince me to do it. (yea he was there), She told me about the sale on the veil if i wanted to go for it but didnt make me feel like I had to do anything.(which i didnt, i just got the dress.) Hopefully from what Ive read my dress will come in around the time its supposed to and alterations will be good.(i knew id have to have alterations no matter what because i have such a small chest and wider hips from having a baby). The distance for me to drive was pretty short cause i live in lansdale. more

I went to Bridaltown in Collegeville, PA to look for my bridal gown...my bridal consultant was Catherine, she was extremely helpful, understanding, did not rush me and stayed within my budget, and she put up with my undecisiveness and million questions. She made my experience fun and always had dresses pulled for me before every appointment that I had. Finally, after many appointments, we found the dress; however, I wanted some modifications made to it...Catherine jump right to it and started calling her contacts to see if they could do the modifications I wanted...it was such a relief to hear that they could do everything I had asked for while still staying within my budget. I had a great experience with Catherine at Bridaltown and would definitely recommend friends and family to visit Catherine for her professionalism and guidence. Jessica more

DO NOT GO TO BRIDALTOWN 5/2/2010

i have never had a worse customer-experience in my life than at bridaltown. like any other bride-to-be i was excited to go in and look for wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses. we finally order bridesmaids dresses, and TWO MONTHS after they are supposedly ordered and paid for, i get a call saying that the dresses can't be made in the colors i wanted. so i would need to choose new colors. NO REFUND is going to be granted, no store credit, nothing. after DAYS of me calling relentlessly, (because NO manager in there will return a single phone call) and their appalling staff giving me the run around, I finally got a hold of Mr. Titze myself who talked to me for 30 seconds, put me on hold LITERALLY for 5 minutes, then transferred me back to the woman I had been arguing with all week. saying that their staff is disrespectful and rude would be an understatement. i don't even understand how they still have a business. it was APPALLING. do not buy from there. it is nothing but stress and a hastle. if you want to be stress-free planning your wedding, your prom, etc, go anywhere but bridaltown. it was truly a terrible experience. more

Horrible 4/10/2010

I would recommend that no one goes to Bridaltown, the service first off is horrible, the manager Warren Bittner and Bill Titze treat people horrible. I was told when my dress didn't come in to get the F out of there store and that I would not get a refund. I saw a few charges on my credit card that I know I had not placed and after my Credit card company traced the charges they came from Bridaltown for pizza, and for various other things. I called the store and again got told they would have legal action against me if I called again. My Credit Card company thankfully cancelled the card and I currently am taking legal action against them. So for anyone giving your card over the phone think twice. Warren thinks he can do whatever he wants to customers and get away with it. My dress never came in and I am out 1200.00. They are crooked and scam artists who probably use your money to pay there own bills. more

WARNING!From the Husband (How to get your dresses from them) 3/24/2010

I just wanted to warn everyone about this place before you even walk into this place. My wife was an ex employee of Bridaltown and even with her past work relationship with the current staff and owner, Mr. Bill Titze, we were given the same unbelievable and horrible customer service as everyone else. Only the alteration employee was thoughtful, helpful and actual was just as concerned about how poor the company is when it comes to it’s customers. It was not like this years ago, but apparently the owner and staff do not care anymore. Please do not make the mistake of going here and ruining one of the best times of your lives. It is not worth it. The couple, family, and friends are all very excited and looking forward to a very special occasion and with that does come some stress. If you would like to minimize the stress and enjoy this special time, then please do not go here. The added stress of waiting and waiting for the dresses to come in is not something a bride should have to go through. In fact the reviews are very accurate in not only the delays and the constant run arounds, but also when the do finally come in the chances that there is nothing wrong with the dresses is 50/50 at best. I would also suggest contacting the President and real owner, Mr. Warren T. Bittner (President) as well. Mr. Bill Titze is just his son-in law, so that is why he can care less about how he treats people. He can’t be fired, so he feels that he can speak to people anyway he wants to. The rudeness he displays to not only brides, but to the mothers, mother-in laws, and bridesmaids is unbelievable. It took everything in me not to walk into that store and drag that man out. I had to hold back because they had the dresses and the money for the dresses as well. They will NOT under any circumstance give you REFUND BACK!!! Please know this before you even start with this place. I too called ABC and they we calling me on my weekly basis, asking about the process of trying to get our bridesmaids dresses in. We keep getting the run around more

Good: There was NOTHING I liked about Bridaltown. The owner (Warren) and his son-in-law (Bill) are sexist pigs who treat women as like garbage. The way I was spoken to was egregious! I have never expierenced such unprofessionalism in my life! Unfortunately they wouldn't let me not rate this place.. Bad: I didn't like the fact that we ordered our dresses in JANUARY...and my daughter NEVER received her dress for the wedding that was in NOVEMBER!! When the owner was referring to my daughter (she is 11) as saying, "I have NEVER seen such an un-proportioned child in my life!" Yeah, that was said right in front of her! Who says that???. Improvements: Improvements? I would like to see Bridaltown go OUT OF BUSINESS!! There is no room for improvment at this dirty establishment with two dirty businessmen.. Other: I live 1 1/2 hours away from this crap of a store that was absolutely filthy! These people made me drive all the way up there before telling me that there was NO DRESS!!! No apology, they just kept passing the buck and blaming each other. When I told the owner I wanted my money back after the ignorant comments he made about my daughter, he threw the check at me. He (Warren) and his son-in-;aw (Bill) are two of the most horrible business owners out there. They are two animals..(pigs). more

Bridaltown sales 11/23/2009

Well where to start, My family has been coming to Bridal town for years and we have always gotten great deals. Only suggestion I would have is change some of the sales girls and hire some different ones, ones that don't push to hard, sneeze in there clothes or one minute seem nice then freak out or get upset. I have been to bridaltown before and believe me the place is not that great the sales staff is not great either. the only one I had any luck working with was Gail. The others are pushy and rude and no brains in there head. Thank the lord for Gail. more

Seems like a scam setup - STAY AWAY! 9/5/2009

I'm dad of the bride. Bridaltown would get 0 stars if the computer would allow. We paid in full in Jan 09 for an Aug 09 wedding. Dress arrived weeks late in July, and was both a different design and size. Staff tried to tell us that was what we ordered, but fortunately we had digital photos from January of my daughter trying it on the model she actually ordered. Different staff then gave us 2 different stories in the following weeks: (Story 1) they were modifying the incorrect dress, as they claimed we requested (not true, and we have multiple family members ready to testify if necessary) (Story 2) the correct dress "was on its way rush". By a week before the wedding, still no correct dress, but they refused to refund our money. Even if the owner is in the building - he is invisible, only speaking to customers over a phone. Otherwise, he always seems to be "out", and no one can do anything (they say) without his authorization. No two people we spoke to in person or over the phone - when they didn't hang up - gave us the same story, or were polite. At the recommendation of our family lawyer, we documented all this in a police report (lowerprovidence.org/police.htm), and are working on the next legal steps. Save that website: you may need it if you shop at Bridaltown. We found it interesting that the local police were already familiar with them, due to frequent complaints. Don't risk the stress and unpleasantness of patronizing this business when your kid's wedding is at stake! more

Dont make the mistake I did! 7/23/2009

My situation with Bridaltown has been an absolute nightmare! I was promised that my dresses for my bridesmaids would be here weeks ago, THEY ARE STILL NOT IN! When I call no one has any answers, they cant track the dresses, they dont know when they will arrive...TOTAL NIGHTMARE! It is absolutely ridiculous, they do not even seem to care. GO ELSEWHERE! more

Worst experience EVER 2/16/2009

These people have been there FOREVER as has there stock.....the place is dirty dusty and tacky! My wedding was December 13th...my gowns arrived December 12th! We had luckily bought off the rack...I didn't let this place spoil my day. The only good experience was Anna Marie and the alterations on my gown which I bought online. more
