extreamly helpful & friendly. 9/7/2010

I recently coordinated a large trip for adults to visit our nation's capitol. Since we live in Upstate, NY we have to do everything my phone/email. Fazia and Nancy did a wonderful job accomodating us and were very patient with me. As soon as we arrived Michelle greeted our group with a lovely smile & helpful guidance. Nancy gave me a big hug & assisted us with our rooms. Every staff, from the housekeepers to the management to the security, were extreamly helpful & friendly. The food was great and the complimentary breakfast was mouth watering (belgain waffles!). I will definetely be staying here again whenever I am in the D.C. area. Burger King & 7 Eleven are right across the street, so no need to get lost looking for things. Only 20 minutes from D.C. and you can't beat that! Overall, this hotel had just what our group needed and everyone was happy! Go Fun Dome! P.S. their WiFi is excellent, unlike other hotels where you have to fight to get it connected, ours went on right away! And the huge Magnolia tree was beautiful. more

the kids had FUN!! 9/3/2010

Most importantly, the kids had FUN!! They loved the indoor pool and mini holes and pool tables. Also, you avoid the hellish DC traffic because you are right off of Rt. 1 which takes you straight into DC. Again, its not much, but when your on the road with teens, and you need a clean, safe place to stay, without many complaints, then this is the hotel for your group. more

wonderful and helpful 9/2/2010

The front desk was wonderful and helpful, especially Nancy and Punit. Although I was nervous about this group booking, I felt a little more reassured when we arrived. A bonus is that there is a restaurant/bar on the premises, and when the kids fall asleep, the adults have a chance to get in a drink to reward themselves. more

hotel was perfect 9/2/2010

I travelled here with a group of 40 8th graders and this hotel was perfect. The rooms are basic and clean, and if you request a refrigerator, they accomodate. The setup is perfect because the rooms that face the inside seem to be held for the students, and the outside for guests travelling without children. The lifeguard at the pool was terrifc. He played games and had fun with the kids, while also enforcing rules very swiftly. There is a security guard at night which added a great sense of security. It allowed the chaperones to wind down a little bit before going to bed. more

very clean and staff friendly 8/30/2010

Our family stayed here to attend the graduation of our grandson from the Naval Academy. We enjoyed our stay and I was particularly impress that after I had carelessly left my camera in our room they held it and returned it to me at no charge. That doesn't happen much this day and time. Room was clean and staff friendly. more

Great place for the weekend stay. There was lot of rain but they had an indoor pool, so the kids still enjoyed. went for the MD football game and they had a complimentary shuttle to that. So overall a good stay. more

I went here for the MD Game, they have a shuttle to it. Also it was very rainy, thank god for the indoor pool they kids still enjoyed. Overall a good stay. more

We had a great time. The pool was wonderful and the other entertainment as well (pool, shuffleboard and the video games) If we ever come back to the area again, we would most definitely stay there. more

loved the fundome 5/20/2010

I attended a large student conference in College Park, MD where everyone stayed at the Clarion Inn & Fundome. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. In my experience, hotels tend to treat students as second class citizens. In this case, they went out of their way to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves. The left the fundome open late for the students to have a place to network, and some of the staff even hung out with the students. All in all a memorable experience. more
