I really enjoy their food. We go for lunch quite often. The service is great and the atmosphere is wonderful. Price is great too. Never had any problems at this restaurant.

I personally thought the food was out of this world Im from El Paso Texas and that was the closest to home that Ive had. My family and I have had dinner in several of the local restaraunts in the area including the alamo (awful) not even decent ... El Charro had wonderful service awesome food and great prices. I think the best since we have been home. My family and I give it a 9.5
Pros: Inexpensive, consistent, delicious
Cons: a little noisy

This restaurant calls itself Mexican but is more like watered down Cuban, in our experience. The sauces are heavy, tomatoey "gravy," and meats that you would expect to be quick, lightly char-grilled and sizzling come out pale as though cooked in a barely warm pan. We had beef fajitas that looked like the meat was boiled - same for a carne asada. Enchilladas, which should retain some crispness and "chew" even after sauced were complete mush, like corn bread instead of tortillas.
Pros: cheap, nice souvenir glasses
Cons: drab food, diner style furniture
