Admittedly, I've never eated dinner at Morton's - and mostly because the dining room looks rather stuffy and like the sort of place my grandmother and grandfather frequented on "special" occasions.
The bar however, is another story. It's a lovely little space, tucked into the back of the dining room. All dark wood, leather and intimate groupings of furniture - the overall impression is just plain cozy. But the service is impeccable - it's a fine dining bar experience. The drinks are stiff, the service is friendly but not "chummy" and the prices are fair. I love coming here during the film festival between films for a nice spot to relax away from the crowds.
Now, about that happy hour... free tenderloin sandwiches. They just keep coming around with platters of these delicious little sandwiches. Help yourself, and don't forget to tip your bartender and servers well.

The Best hands down. The service, the food the atmosphere is decadent. Absolutely the best of the best. However, I must fore warn you that the prices are through the roof. We took a group of 10 people from my office there and although it was out of this world, our bill with appetizers, dinner, drinks, dessert and tip was $2700. Yeah ! Expensive .... but well worth it.
