It doesn't matter what you order it will be wonderful! The food is very fresh and natural (no MSG.) The Chinese menu is a 3 ring notebook filled with colorful photos of each dish offered. The regular menu is extensive and offers a combo for both lunch and dinner that includes the soup of your choice and a very delicate spring roll for only one additional dollar. The service is wonderful, The dining room is intimate, clean and everyone is friendly. If you are adventurous there are some wonderful and unusual dishes to temp your pallet but if you prefer the more traditional dishes these, too, will leave you very satisfied. I can safely say that once you dine at Hunan East it will become one of your favorites! The take-out here is also a delight! You won't believe how inexpensive it is to enjoy a fantastic meal! This is a gathering place for Asians so you know the food is delicious.
