Had bad experience with sagging in the middle of a queen pillow top. Did not use this specific location, use South Blvd. Charlotte, NC. Bed only lasted 1 and 1/2 years before the body impression kept me up and bed started to give me terrible back ache and would wake up feeling like I was hit by a bus in the morning. You can imagine what kind of days I was having, thank God for caffeine. A service guy came to my house and told me it was my frames fault. B. S. I told him it was a standard queen size frame with support in the middle just like it should be. He even got on the bed and jumped up and down while I looked under the bed with a flashlight. He said see how the frame moves up and down? I said no, the frame is not moving up and down while you jump on it, it is in the same position the entire time. It is not the frame. He kept telling me it was we argued about it. He was not helpful. I am filing a BBB complaint about Original Mattress and their service. The one on South Blvd. in Charlotte, NC., not the one in Cleveland.

I bought 4 bed sets for my cabin on Kelley's Island, and I thought the sales presentation was well-done, the prices very reasonable, but most important, everyone comments on how well they sleep! At my primary home, we have a very expensive foam mattress,and it is not as comfortable as what we got at Original. We've had them for 3 years, can't complain at all.

Purchased a mattress at the salepersons recommendation. (first wrong step.) Realized once it was home that it was not complimentary to the bed we had just purchased for our two year old. The company would NOT exchange the new bed still in plastic 5 minutes post delivery. Furthermore, Todd Kessler (state road service rep) was very snide and rude during our phone call. Will not use OMF service again. Buyer beware....

The service inside was great, but once they get your money the service from the warehouse is lousy. The kids that were supposed to help me & my sister load the car just stood like two bumps on a log, while 50 year old women loaded the car instead! Would not recommend this company. Even the manager of the warehouse was rude.

We had made a habit of turning both mattress and box spring, per company instructions...didn't work. We will not purchase another one.

I purchased 2 twin sets about 4 years ago and both are worn out. I have a 20 year old mattress that is in better shape. One twin bed my 7 year old has been using since it was new. This was his first bed after he got out of a crib at 3 and it hasn't held up at all. I flip it on a regular basis and it still has sags in it. It is lumpy and uncomfortable. The other one was used by an adult and it is in the same shape. I thought the one used by child was maybe more worn because kids jump on the bed at times,but the adult's bed is exactly the same. Their prices aren't that inexpensive to justify buying a new mattress every 4-5 years. My 20 year old mattress is a Spring Air and was a 10 yr warranty mattress and has been so comfy(It started showing wear at the 15 year mark)...it now needs replacing but NOT with the Original Mattress Factory. Shop here only if you don't mind replacing your mattress every four years. People wrote some nice reviews on here but talk to them in a few years and see how happy they are. I do remember that the employees were very nice and helpful ...it's too bad they sell junk.

The Original Mattress Factory is a great business around here. We have purchased many beds from them over the years and have always been happy with the quality. Their prices are like no others, cutting out the middle man and passing the savings to you. Their mattresses are comparable to Serta and others for a much lower price. You can even watch them make the bedding at their factory in the stores.

The Original Mattress Factory is a really cool place to watch a mattress get made. To me that's about the only thing I would feel safe doing at the Original Mattress Factory. The salespeople seemed a little bit shady, or else too pushy. Maybe it was just me but it felt like when I left, there was going to be a police raid on the store at any minute. The commercials make the place look really nice and safe, which it is, it's just the people that make you feel uncomfortable.

If you are tired of seeing those over priced bedding, you'll be happy to step into the Mattress Factory. The store on State isn't a lot to look at but you'll find everything you need right in there, along with watching them build the bedding. THeir mattresses are built just as well as the name brands, and hundreds less. We've been very happy with our purchases and service from this company.
