We accepted to be on the 24 hr notice list. Received call on 11/2/16 that they could be there on 11/3/16 at 8am. The foreman of the job, Michael Brogdon, toured the basement and outside with me and explained in detail what the procedure would involve. His explanation was thorough and easy to follow. The job was completed by 2:30 pm on 11/4/16. While we did not have a serious water problem, we are extremely pleased that our home will be water free moving forward. Thanks to Ohio State Waterproofing for a first class experience. I would recommend you to anyone. more

First time waterproofing experience review 7/10/2016

I just recently finish having my basement waterproof with OhioState. The Crew was very professional and did a good job in explaining everything they were going to do step by step and in doing the job. The job did not take long and the results were a basement that went from drab looking to a finish looking basement. Good Job Crew. My neighbors have ask questions and I would recommend them to the company. more

From start to finish we have had a good working relationship with the team. The work crew was professional and hard working. Boith the salesman Jeff, the team leader Adonis and the inspector Ron were helpful in their explanations of what needed to be done. We had one leakage problem and they immediately scheduled someone to come out and solve the problem. We also appreciate the warranty on the work done. more

15+ years of satisfaction 5/11/2016

I had water damage in my finished basement in 2000. My folks had used Ohio State Waterproofing years before and were very pleased. So I did too! Now it's 15 years later and I've never had another problem. You can't do better than that! more

Great job 5/10/2016

Great job, have not had any more problems since the waterproofing, the employees were very hard working and never stopped working. They were very friendly and courteous explained everything they were doing. We are very satisfied with all employees at Ohio state waterproofing, every single person we spoke to regarding our basement was so informative.. We chose a great company to deal with! FP more

Ohio Waterproofing did a fine job about 4 years ago 3/12/2016

The wife & I did not want to put that much money into waterproofing the basement. The sales representative explained how the water is coming in and understood the job needed to be done on the inside not the outside of the walls. After four years we are glad we spent the money and have no water coming in even after a hard rain! It is about the value and guarantee not the cost. JC Cortland, Ohio more

My Basement waterproofing 3/5/2016

I had my basement waterproofed this week. The inspector did was thorough. They came and did my basement ahead of the appointment date. The workers were courteous and kept things as clean as they could. The crew leader was polite and thorough. We did several walk arounds and went over things. I have used Ohio State in the past and am completely satisfied with their work and results. nd more

Ohio State Waterproofing Good job 3/4/2016

We had our basement water proofed by Ohio State years ago and have never been sorry. They did a great job. We only had one occasion to have to call them out and that was because the sub pump stopped working and they came out immediately and installed a new pump without any cost to us. Our basement has been free of any leaks or flooding. more

Ohio state waterproofing 7/17/2015

Our basement has been dry now for over 25 years since Ohio State Waterproofing installed the interior footer drain system. Service calls for a couple of pumps that failed were handled very quickly. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the concrete repairs to the floor could have been smoother. more

Ohio State Waterproofing 4/25/2015

We have been in our home for 40 years and experienced water problems. We had several contractors do work on our foundation but still had problems. A friend recommended Ohio State Waterproofing and we decided to try them. We were very impressed with the presentation and decided to have them do the work. It has been more than 8 years and we have had no water problems and are very pleased. more

Ohio State Waterproofing. 10/9/2014

I had my soggy basement waterproofed by Ohio State Waterproofing in 2005. I have not had any issues since then with any moisture. I also purchased the Easy Breathe and the basement doesn't have the musty smell that is associated with basements. I did have a new sump pump installed and they were prompt and professional. I would recommend calling Ohio State Waterproofing for an estimate. LD Tallmadge more

HIGH PRESSURE SALES 8/8/2014

their story about the discount was always changing. They first came up with a huge price. Then they offered a flexible schedule discount that was supposedly less than employee pricing. Unfortunately I had signed a contract based on a refinance. The refinance did not cover the entire cost and I am forced to use a credit card for the difference. They don't care. They would not budge on the price to help me out. From the story he told me is my 14k price was eating up Ali the profit. Yeh right. I truly regret using them. Just hoping their workmanship is good sine I am paying allot and I mean allot for it. I suggest you contact others first and only call Ohio state after you have other estimates. My review is based on the sale not the work. more

Their Service Dept. reacts immediately to severe problems. (The motor on my sub pump didn't work and I had to bale water out due to severe rains. ) The employees are courteous and will answer any questions you may have. MS - Bedford more

Never kept the appointment! 6/27/2014

I can't say anything about their product work because they never kept the appointment we had confirmed the day before for the inspection. After waiting 15 minutes (which is our limit for tardiness), being responsible adults, we called to cancel the appointment. The phone staff informed us the inspector might be stuck in traffic and could we wait while she checked on it. If the inspector was stuck in traffic or delayed in any way for our confirmed appointment, they should have called their office or us to relay that information like a responsible adult. The phone staff seemed bothered by the fact that we were not going to wait any additional time for the inspector. In our old fashioned surely outdated book of manners, when you make an appointment and it is confirmed, it should be kept. We will not be using Ohio State Waterproofing for any of our possible future needs. more

Wait for them.to lower price 5/6/2014

At first the sales guy came out and quoted me over $19,000 I told him that's way to steep. He then gave me some b.s. story how they need a filler job incase someone cancels that they can easily access my house and start that day just so their workers have work. He then quoted me over $15,000. See any red flags yet? So after trying to pressure me into committing for 30 minutes he finally left. Trying to say I have till tmr morning to reserve that price. HA. 2 days later I get a call from the office saying they had "left over material" and can do my job a lot cheaper if I have a supervisor come evaluate my house. Needless to say I'm not going with a company that over priced a product by $1,000's more

Waterproofing Contractors 4/17/2014

For many years we dealt with water problems in our basement. We hired two contractors who told us they could fix the problem but to no avail. A friend told us about Ohio State Waterproofing and we decided to give them a try since we were still getting water with every heavy rain. They did the job professionally and in a a timely fashion. Since then we have had no water problems even with heavy rains. It gives us peace of mind. more
