the dining experience was great. our server Diane was amazing she was very attentize and kind she made us feel like we were family. We loved her funny sense of humor. The atmosphere is so relaxing and warm weather its 100 degrees or zero degrees its always a comfortable place to be. As far as the food it was great proably one of the best steaks i have ever have there is no comparissson. The location is terrible as much as i like coming there the neighborhood is getting worse and if continues to get bad I dont t hink i will be coming down there anymore

While in Cleveland on vacation, we decided to try out Great Lakes Brewing... had a hard time finding the location, but it was well worth it! Our server was amazing, and gave several good suggestions on what to order. The food was exceptional (if you're ordering dessert, try the infamous bread pudding)! And, of course, their beers are unbeatable... we tried the Edmund Fitgerald Porter and the Blackout Stout, both very tasty and smooth. Try this place if you enjoy finely crafted beers, and if you want to support local small businesses. Great Lakes Brewing Co. rocks!

I just recently had an amazing dinner at Fahrenheit. My experience was so great this is actually the first time I felt compelled to write a review. I travel for a living and dine in some of the top restaurants in each city I visit, I can say they have got it all right!! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a super friendly hostess and promptly sat at beautiful table. They have a well put together wine list set at some really reasonable prices. Now the menu......our server was very well versed in all aspects of the menu and he gave us several of his favorite selections which made it very easy to order. Food was fabulous!!! Each one of us at the table tried a different entree which gave us a chance to try a variety...........Shortribs were heavenly! The manager stopped by our table to check our experience which we thought was a super classy touch. We will definately be going back. Don't miss this gem in a cool little neighborhood!!!

The Velvet Tango Room is the place that 's always rumored to be real, but nobody really knows for sure. Yes, it's real. And no, it is not marked from the street. Take the address, because you'll need it to find it. Once you find it though, it's like walking back in time.
Ladies are treated like, well, ladies. Each receives a rose upon entering. Look around and you'll feel like you've entered a 1920s salon. Be forewarned however that the prices reflect the elegance of the surroundings. And wear your most elegant. This is a place to see and be seen, or to have a most romantic evening.
The Tango Room specializes in champagnes, scotches, bourbons and the like. Exquisite chocolates too. Please don't order a beer. And please don't make a spectacle of yourself. And please oh please don't gasp when you get your tab and find that a normally $8-$10 drink cost you $20-$25. You're paying for the exclusiveness after all.
I wouldn't recommend being a regular at the Tango Room, but it's worth it to check it out. Perhaps after a concert at Severance Hall, or something similar. Everyone should get dressed up and go out for champagne at least once in their lives, and the Tango Room is perfect for doing just that.

My wife and I visited Cleveland for the first time last weekend and walked in to D'Vine for dinner. It was 8:00 on a Saturday night and we sat out on the patio. Dawn came over to us and was very personable and friendly. We were very impressed with the wine and beer selection and LOVED the flights menu! My wife got the "Award-Winning Whites" flight and I started with a Paulaner Hefeweizen. We then ordered the Calamari, the Trio of Dips and the Bruschetta. All three plates were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! No salt or pepper needed on the table at all! We then talked briefly with another server, Scott, and realized that everyone at D'Vine worked together to make sure that the guests came FIRST. My wife has, and I do, work in the restaurant business and we were both VERY pleased with this dining experience. We asked to speak to the manager, Tracy, so we could thank her and her staff for everything. I'm not sure when I'll be returning to Cleveland, but I DO know where I will eat as soon as I get there!
Pros: Perfect place for a relaxed, romantic dinner!
Cons: Absolutely none!

London, Venice, Paris. This is where you would have to go to find anything like the Tango Room. The first time you walk in you feel transported back in time. A time where gentelman did not need to be reminded to remove their hats upon entering a room. Where tuxedos and long black gloves don't look the least bit out of place. And where you can order a Rob Roy, Sidecar, Ramos Gin Fiz, or Lady in Red and not have the bartender stare at you with a blank look and ask you if there is any RedBull in that. Every drink is made from scratch. If you order a sour you get egg white, fresh squeezed juice and it is shaken until it is blended to perfection. Would you wait 5 minutes for a drink anywhere else? At the Tango Room the art of blending a drink perfectly is a show in itself. The first time you visit sit at the bar and just watch the bartenders work. It is as fascinating as wathching an artist create a painting out of a blank canvas. The lights stay low, the conversation is private and softly spoken, and on those magical nights when Paulius is present every lady receives a rose. You have never had a Manhattan like a Tango Manhatten (If you have ever even had a Mannhattan). There is live jazz everynight performed exquisitley by some of the areas best piano and bass musicians who transport you back to the days of Cab Calloway and Benny Goodman. Call ahead and reserve the back room and experience a place that I cannot describe in words. From the beautiful bartenders, the eclectic decor, the clientelle of mature, sophisticated ladies and gentleman, and cocktails like you have never even dreamed of you will be hard pressed to ever go anywhere else for a drink. The fact that it is hard to find only helps to preserve the mystique. Take the time to find it and you will certainly never be dissapointed.
Pros: Everything you have ever wanted in a lounge
Cons: Not for the budwiser crowd (thank God)
