I have dealt with all of the vets, and they are all wonderful. I have a very difficult cat (she hisses and goes crazy at the vet) but they have all been able to handle her well and somehow, have calmed her down. The big problem is that the waiting room is waaaay to small to have both cats and dogs waiting, and I stopped going here after a huge akita stuck her face into my cat's cage, hugely traumatizing her. The front desk staff is rather unfriendly but not a deal breaker.
Pros: great vets
Cons: waiting room too small, front desk staff rude

The facility is old, dingy and cramped, the receptionists are too busy answering the phone to deal with the clients in front of them, and if you are calling in you can rarely get through. The surgeon is good, Dr. Radinsky needs a vacation and to regain her focus. There is no doubt that they care about animals and are doing the best they can under MASH conditions.

I was recommended to Belvoir Pet Hospital by our realtor when we moved into the area. If you can make it past the rather cold receptionists and frequent voicemail, you will feel like your pet is in great hands.
I see Dr. Joe Jr. I love that he calls my dog by her name, or sometimes he calls her, My friend. (How are you doing today, my friend?) She seems to trust him, which is wonderful because I had to literally drag or carry her in to see our previous vet.

I found out about this wonderful vet service through a friend. I have a special needs cat and I have received A+ service in getting proper treatment for Sam, whom I treat as if he were my own flesh and blood. They are excellent with Sam and with all of my animals. Dr. Joe N. Farkas is the best - old school with a lot of emphasis on good morals and values. I love Sam with all my heart and would trust him with only the best and Sam still gets his care at Belvoir Pet Hospital.
PROS: very caring staff and vets
CONS: a tad expensive but you receive excellent vet services

Went there on a recommendation from a friend when I moved to the area. The staff made me feel very welcome. The doctors really care about your pet, and not just take care of them, but educate and actually talk to you about your pet's needs and what you can do.
PROS: Great staff

This animal hospital has been run by the same family of doctors for two generations. The family business aspect of it combined with the veternarians obvious love for their furry customers makes it a really comforting place for both the pets and their owners. Since its a hospital, any medical need your pet might have can be taken care of right at the hospital rather than at a strange place. They do a good job of comforting skittish dogs and keeping them calm and still enough to receive shots and treatment safely.
PROS: Superb care and comprehensive service
CONS: Sort of expensive
