I have used Kniesel's since 1993, and have had three cars repaired after one major collision and two fender benders. If you care about your car at all, it is worth taking it here because they are the BEST!
I had a Nissan Maxima, a Toyota Camry, and a new BMW repaired here, and they may take a little longer, and may not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for! And if others tell you they are too busy, maybe it is for a reason, and that is because they are one of the most respectable auto body shops in California. Also, I know people who will take their luxury cars only here, from as far as San Francisco, just because they have the best reputation and will do anything to satisfy their customers.
This is not a paid review! I just love everything they have done to make me a happy customer!

Kniesel's is always really busy, so I generally end up taking my car somewhere else to avoid a wait that can sometimes take days before my car can get into the shop. Their prices have always been a little on the high end, but nothing outrageous. Their staff is very nice, but it seems like they are always training someone new, so it makes me a little leary about taking my car to someone inexperienced. I'd say that it's worth going there once if you can get in right away, but I wouldn't be surprised if you told me that you'd had a bad experience with them.

This place is horrible. Their prices are high and their service is awful. I took my car to be repaired. They charged me $120 for a diagnostic test and then wanted to charge me $800 to fix the problem. I called everywhere else and would only be charged $300. So I pulled my car, took it elsewhere, but Kniesels didn't put a wire back in right after looking at my car because after the other shop fixed the problem, my car started stalling, so I had to pay for another diagnostic test at the new mechanic who said it was a loose wire and that it would have been from their diagnostic test.
